Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18.

Remember back when a midweek fixture was an exciting rarity? It is hardly an uncommon occurrence these days and one to which we shall be treated to quite a few more times before the season is up. There are in fact three of these in the next five GW’s and even one of those (DGW19) straddles a midweek.

As for this one it begins on Tuesday at 6pm as Sheffield and Newcaste unite to see who can score the least goals. Then at 8.15pm Burnley host half the games captain in the shape of Bruno. At the same time Wolves welcome Everton.

Wednesday begins at 6pm with the other halves captain (KdB) hosting Brighton. Spurs (now) welcome a reluctant Fulham at 8.15pm.

Arsenal and Palace see us out on Thursday at 8pm.

And don’t forget that once the above GW ends on Thursday evening the next one begins on Saturday and that one is a double so get your planning sorted early doors!

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Hi all, what a mad week! Appreciate all the updates from everyone!

Very unsure what to do with this squad…seems that kdb is a must, and podence (and dcl?!) need replacing. Tempted to WC, is that dumb? Or is a -8 more beneficial here? I think a WC with city cover and the usual suspects could set up for a good long term!

    What do we think?

Hello all, what changes should I make here for the double? 1 FT and 0.2 in the bank.
I’m thinking Bellerin >> Stones and Bednarek >> Coufal? Is City vs Villa on for sure?

    Thank you!

    Would appreciate some help…

I’m planning to play my bench boost chip and was feeling good until the Leeds game got postponed.

I was planning to bring in:

    A) Dias and De Bruyne > Dier/Dallas and Salah…

Now I’m wondering whether I should bring in:

    B) Dias and Cancelo > Dallas and Dier
    Or
    C) Dias and Foden > Dier/Dallas and Harrison

What do you think? A, B or C? Or is there a better option?

Evening folks, what would you do here? Have 1 ft and 3.8 itb

    A. Son to Salah
    B. DCL to Vardy
    C. Son and Raphinia to Salah and 6.4 mid (thinking El Ghazi)
    D. DCL and Raphinia to Antonio and 10.5 mid (thinking Rashford)

Hi all! I have 11 DGW players and 4 SGW players, I taking some hits an playing the BB is the best option for me at the moment. I have some potential moves I’d like some feedback on:

    A:
    Salah to KDB
    Adams to Watkins
    Meslier to Martinez
-8, leaves me with 0.0 itb and Raphinha and Bamford as SGW players

    B:
    Robertson to Stones/Cancelo
    Meslier to Martinez
    Adams to Watkins
    Raphinha to Foden
-12, leaves me with 0.9/0.1 itb and Bamford as SGW player.

Thoughts appreciated! Also open to other suggestions.

The advantage of bench boost is negated by taking hits. -4 max for me or just bench boost another time.

Don’t really think I like either option. I’m not really sure I can advocate for a -12. -8 maybe (it’s what I did last week) but the -12 seems way too much. Only thing is I’m not really a big fan of selling Salah for KdB so that is my problem with the -8. I’m not really helping much but can you do Meslier, Robertson and Adams to Martinez, Stones and Watkins?

Cheers guys! I agree the hits may seem a bit much but looking at City’s and Villa’s fixtures after the DGW, I think it’s fine to take hits to bring in players from those teams as it sets up the team for future GWs. A bit skeptical to sell Salah myself but City are in better form than Liverpool at the moment, so I think it makes sense. Possible to do those moves Matt, I’ll consider it.
