Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18.
Remember back when a midweek fixture was an exciting rarity? It is hardly an uncommon occurrence these days and one to which we shall be treated to quite a few more times before the season is up. There are in fact three of these in the next five GW’s and even one of those (DGW19) straddles a midweek.
As for this one it begins on Tuesday at 6pm as Sheffield and Newcaste unite to see who can score the least goals. Then at 8.15pm Burnley host half the games captain in the shape of Bruno. At the same time Wolves welcome Everton.
Wednesday begins at 6pm with the other halves captain (KdB) hosting Brighton. Spurs (now) welcome a reluctant Fulham at 8.15pm.
Arsenal and Palace see us out on Thursday at 8pm.
And don’t forget that once the above GW ends on Thursday evening the next one begins on Saturday and that one is a double so get your planning sorted early doors!

Not sure, doesn’t feel right that, especially with Leeds not now seemingly having a double.
True, he’d only be for my bench though, and it would just be to fund the other moves, can’t take a risk on Lindelof not starting again.
Also am I right in saying Adams doesn’t have a double now either?

KDB assist at least.
Same but too risky with rotation. My ml rival has foden and no kdb. He’s bloody lucky so far

Gundogan here too…he better do something (positive!) in the next half!
Gundogan would have had an assist already if KDB knew how to finish versus the keeper.

Salah out for KDB and DCL out for Antonio -4. Not so convinced by Salah these days. Could do Son of course…

I was considering Salah>KdB myself. On paper City’s fixtures look good for him. Rotation is a risk as usual. It may very well come down to a coin toss for me.
Let’s not forget that Kun’s self isolation is about to be over soon and Sterling is almost ready to start. The Pep roulette will be in full blast.
I also need to figure out what to do with Che Adams. Watkins was looking good until Villa decided to covid up.

i have 3 southampton and 2 Leeds players missing doubles now. Worth a hit to lose a couple? I also have DCL to add to that?
I’m in the same boat (DCL injured, 4 players having lost their DGW) – yes a 4ph or even an 8ph if the move is a good one!
I’m seeing it now as a normal, albeit deluxe, GW.
I was going to FH but will just assemble as good a side as I can within the complex parameters currently hemming us in.
You may get away with one hit Hammerfan – hopefully you still have some DGW players in there – but bear in mind the weeks that follow (e.g. check out the fixtures of any incoming players).
