Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2

None of that Friday night nonsense this week. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday with Cardiff hosting Newcastle, a game that has relegation 6 pointer written all over it. We then have four games at the traditional kick off time of 3pm. Everton entertain Southampton. It’s a battle of the animals at The King Power stadium as the Foxes host Wolves. It’s an all London affair with Spurs playing host to Fulham, while Bournemouth travel to West Ham. Saturday is brought to a conclusion with the game of the weekend when Chelsea host Arsenal at 5:30pm.

Sunday brings us another three games. Burnley host Watford in a game that is unlikely to cure any hangovers. Huddersfield will be hoping to improve on their opening day result but that’s unlikely as they entertain Manchester City. If you’re still hungover come 4pm you might as well switch off the TV as Brighton host Jose and his merry men.

Our game-week is brought to an end with the first Monday Night Football of the season and it has the potential to be a cracker as Liverpool travel to London to face Crystal Palace.

Milner on Pens now then confirmed.

What is going on with Salah though?

I think Salah seems pretty honest as far as footballers are concerned. He had the good grace to get back up again, rather than continuing with the Hollywood style theatrics (they all seem to carry on as if their limbs need amputating when they get the slightest contact – very wooden actors for the most part!). That in itself should guarantee him a BAFTA award (Oscars are so common!) – but I DO believe in someone like Mo Salah – he seems like such a good guy, that he couldn’t conceivably simulate. Maybe the referees are of the same view? I’d say it was as good a pretext for a penalty as any we’ve seen. BTW, am neither a Pool, nor a Palace supporter – just a lone Aussie living in continental Europe, loving this match between 2 teams of really entertaining players! Tis indeed the ‘beautiful game’! Cheers everyone.

It was a trip, a foul and ergo a pen.

The above comment referencing Australia was nothing to do with you, btw. Or indeed anyone from Australia.

Didn’t take it that way – no worries (oops cliché comment!). Having a great time watching – even tho I have 5 players in this match. Am looking down the barrel of a collective 5 or 6 points from them all, but I don’t care – am of a stoic nature! I felt it in my bones as I chose not to include Kun in my team this year (not yet anyway!), after having him all last year, and alternating the captaincy between him and Mo. After seeing the 20 points attributed to him, I thought that tonight’s match would be low-scoring (FPL wise!). But it’s highly entertaining! And that’s what we love! See you round buddy! smile

Small gripe but I reckon it could be a substantial one, ultimately. Why choose grey as an away kit? It’s very well documented that bright colours are best both visually and psychologically. It took Sir Alex 45 minutes to do away with grey, Klopp ain’t daft, why’s he allowed this to happen? Liverpool have a yellow away kit in their tradition, lends itself to illuminous yellow surely, job done.
