Evening lads, with Pogba and United having remembered how to attack I’m thinking doubling up could be an idea.

    Which option is best?

    A. Do nothing and save FT
    B. KdB and Walters to D.Silva and Pogba for a -4 hit and 1 mil itb
    C. Walters and Kompany to Pogba and Zanka for a -4 hit and 0.5 itb
    D. Something else I’m not thinking of (except Salah to Pogba!!)

Holding out on transfers is gonna be a struggle tonight but I think I need to see Chelsea (and maybe KDB) in action before I confirm what I do for next week.

99% sure i’m gonna bring Pogba and Bailly in for two of Salah/Willian/KDB and Alonso/Kolasinac but not sure who yet. Salah on the bench today was so frustrating to see but they always perform against the big teams, Chelsea could be destroyed in the next 3 days without Cahill, Kolasinac is wasted (and pretty awful) at CB but Arsenals fixtures look good after Liverpool…

Think my team looks okay on paper but after a great week last week, it’s all gone wrong today.

Need a Chelsea Spurs game without Kane tomorrow and i’ll feel better for week 3.

I think your priority should be another striker aswell. Not a fan of that formation at all.

      • Mr Bean says:

I don’t like any of the other strikers out there regarding performance for price. Chicarito is somebody I would consider but not until West Hams fixtures ease up.

The 5 at the back was an experiment to keep me interested in fantasy football this year, purely based on the belief that a ‘Kompany’ outperforms an ‘Ince’ over the season. Obviously I would be willing to change if necessary but at the moment, budget midfielders and strikers do not appeal to me at all

        • Brookyboy says:

I agree on a 5-7m defender potentially outperforming a 5-7m midfielder and am still thinking of switching to 4-3-3 myself. But strikers are always going to outscore the defenders, apart from maybe Alonso, but it remains to be seen if he can hit the heights of last season and are more likely to explode points. You also have an extra better captain option.

        • Mr Bean says:

I don’t have faith in any 6m strikers to outperform a Kompany/Davies/Bailly at the moment, except maybe Mounie, but the first week may have been a one off. Obviously if bargains appear they’re worth jumping on – King last year is a perfect example – but they can also go completely the opposite way – I had Rondon for a 7 week period last year where they played all bottom 10 teams and he didn’t beat 2 points once.

I understand nobody else plays 5 at the back but I’m not ready to change it all yet when I see no obvious moves.

        • Brookyboy says:

I was thinking more of a big hitter ! Each to their own how they play this game though !

    Technical question:if I have 2 ft for this gw and only 1, next gw I have 2 ft again;

    Ripcurl82 says:

    1FT 1.5m

    Willian – Pogba

Could take a hit then in the week

    Thinking Rodriguez – 6.5m

    Thanks

      Brookyboy says:

The Willian move sounds good as Hazard and Pedro will be back soon but I’d wait till all the games this week have finished.I’d give J Rod one more week and save the hit.

      Smash10 says:

Willian move makes sense. At least you will make some money.not convinced Pogba will get those points every week they have come quite late once the game is won and the game is stretched but could easily be the Matic signing
