Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20
Two days without any football?! It almost feels like we are stuck in some sort of Christmas version of Groundhog Day at the moment. If you missed it then worry not as between GW20 beginning and GW23 ending we now have just 14 days with games on 11 of those and no more than a day to separate any given Gameweek. That’s the theory anyway, whether Covid (or Aston Vila) say otherwise is a different matter.
GW20 itself begins on Tuesday with a 6pm double header as Palace welcome West Ham for a good old fashioned London derby and at the same time Steve Bruce will probably continue to lose his marbles at the hands of the slightly more wily Marcelo Bielsa. Arsenal’s (latest) renaissance will be severely tested by the Saints at 8.15pm, whilst at the same time Big Sam will be looking forward to seeing if Man City can do it on a cold Tuesday night at … they will!
Wednesday begins at 6pm with a duet of mid-table clashes which will be tightly contested but ultimately mean nothing as Burnley host Villa and Wolves go to Chelsea. 7.30pm sees a relegation 6-pointer between Brighton and Fulham.
The title race continues at 8.15pm as the outsiders Everton & Leicester clash, before Manchester United easily see off Sheffield United.
GW20 concludes in some fashion, as Spurs face a true test of their title credentials against a recently inadequate Liverpool.

Spurs will struggle without Kane. He is the core of the team and most importantly the inspiration. Let’s see how bad is the problem. If it’s something long term people will star offloading Son as well.
Son usually does well when Kane is out. Becomes the main man and plus who the hell would you sell him for
That is so true Smash. There is nobody matching him at the moment. With Kane and Zouma to be sorted out, he will definitely stay.
If both Vardy and Kane are out and if you are playing 3 forwards, which strikers would you actually want?
Antonio, DCL and Ings?
Not a bad trio. The cheapo trio of Bamford/Antonio/Watkins isn’t bad.
I had been looking at bringing Kane for GW21 and had been wondering which one of those three to throw over.
I’ll be looking closely at DCL and Ings. I haven’t looked at their respective fixtures etc.

Most likely it will be DCL coming for him and keep the dosh for rainy days.

Jenas just said that Kane will be out for weeks. Mourinho said an issue with both ankles
46 all out, could have been better if I was brave enough to captain Sterling over Bruno, but fortunate to have Soucek or it would have been a pretty bad GW
Now need to find a replacement for Vardy, torn between Lacazette and DCL. Who’s the best option out there?
Lacazette could work out and in theory could out-point DCL over the next few GWs. Arsenal aren’t in the worst nick at the moment.

I’d be more inclinded to bring him (Gundo) in for your cheapo mid. Give yourself a few options and critically you can then share the frequent pain of benching Soucek.

I had Kane lined up for next week’s transfer. Possibly even both Kane and Son. Now I’ll probably roll the FT but it will be an itchy finger day with so much itb
Strikeforce is weak. If you don’t upgrade them, then you need to go 352 and have Gundo and Soucek.
True, but im not really spilt for choice aha….i have 10mil to upgrade but vardy and kane both out, keeping an eye on dcl at the moment…. as a chelsea fan im still hopeful for a werner turn around cause if he can get going 9 mil is a steal (that is a very very small slither of hope haha) But yeah, the forward options are rubbish this year
