Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21. If you made it this far without missing a deadline give yourself a pat on the back. And if you think you’re tired just imagine how the players are feeling! This is the last GW in the marathon Christmas period though, so you them and us all can breathe a sigh of relief and take a break for a week or so to recover.
New Year’s Day itself has a disappointingly low number of fixtures with just three games this year, for some bizarre reason. Everton and Leicester kick us off at lunchtime before Arsenal and Fulham play the solitary ‘traditional’ 3pm game on their lonesome. Cardiff and Spurs bring up the rear at 5.30pm.
We then skip to Wednesday evening for the bulk of this week’s action with 6 games in total. The remaining one is on Thursday night and should in theory be the game of the week, if not the whole Christmas period, or indeed the season. If only they all had any legs left… Oh, it’s Man City vs Liverpool by the way. Cracking time to play what may be a season decider that isn’t it?!

If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

What are thoughts on Son replacement? Stick with Spurs (maybe Alli as I have .3itb) or look to another team? Man City look to have a good run of fixtures so maybe someone like Bernardo Silva?

I’m thinking of doing Kane to kun for GW22, this would free up 1.3 which will help me get in Arnie for Ings for GW23.
Thoughts?
Sound like a good plan to me — Kane could do well but he does not seem to be earning his price tag and City have some good fixtures coming up.
That’s my thinking at the moment let’s see what happens in the cup games.
I think you just change SON (after mid-week games) and save the other FT.
@Mitro A different line of thought: What about Ings > Kun and downgrade Haz? This is just an idea – now that we have more than 1 week to tinker our teams, give it a thought for pros and cons.

I know hazard frustrated a few managers the other night but he did look decent and any other day he would have had a brace. I’m going to keep hold of him for at least a few more weeks.

So,maybe a “Solomon” solution ->
1) Son to Sane would do the trick? This way you get to keep Kane – but no Kun.
other options to consider :
2) Kane to Kun now & Son to Sane next gw – would also do well if you want to double up on City but you ll have no Spurs assets.
3) Kane to Kun now & Son to Lucas (or Anderson)

Another woeful GW, 51(-4), which has seen me plummet further to 444K, having been around 150K at the start of December. I’m in freefall at the moment and got no idea what to do, any suggestions? Team should be linked. 1FT and 1.1ITB.

I kinda like it AB. One of the few teams that I’ve seen with 4 big hitters in it and still looks sound. Don’t love the keepers but small price to pay. This for a hit?

It would be for -8. But it could be done over a week or two if I did it. But I don’t know if i will. Was just a bit suprised that it worked. Four big hitters and the rest not just shit,… Not all shit anyway…
I would do the following (if this was my team):
-Auba to Kun this week…team above looks good but no City cover can hurt you…
-Anderson & Lingard to Salah & Camarasa next week (for a -4)…
Would that work?
4.5 on your 5th mid instead of Casa (eg. Westwood) or 4.4 (eg Billing) might give you a little flexibility on the GK (Etheridge, Patricio …….)
I’ve had to do a sideways Casamara to Westwood to find 0.1, instructed my sis to do Ling to Rich on Sunday and how to change the capo and subs. So, this is my team now until GW26.
@Otieno, thats a long gap…can’t your sis set the (C) and (VC) every week? If she can, I suggest you take screenshot of your intended team for every GW like Gw22.jpg, Gw23,jpg and so on….and give to her.
