Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21. If you made it this far without missing a deadline give yourself a pat on the back. And if you think you’re tired just imagine how the players are feeling! This is the last GW in the marathon Christmas period though, so you them and us all can breathe a sigh of relief and take a break for a week or so to recover.
New Year’s Day itself has a disappointingly low number of fixtures with just three games this year, for some bizarre reason. Everton and Leicester kick us off at lunchtime before Arsenal and Fulham play the solitary ‘traditional’ 3pm game on their lonesome. Cardiff and Spurs bring up the rear at 5.30pm.
We then skip to Wednesday evening for the bulk of this week’s action with 6 games in total. The remaining one is on Thursday night and should in theory be the game of the week, if not the whole Christmas period, or indeed the season. If only they all had any legs left… Oh, it’s Man City vs Liverpool by the way. Cracking time to play what may be a season decider that isn’t it?!

If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

I’m looking to ship out Martial too, he seems to be the least enthusiastic of the United attackers to celebrate others’ goals and so on, plus he’s subbed off, no doubt he’ll start on the bench soon with Lukaku/Sanchez back in the fold! Doherty to TAA for a hit seems a bit excessive though?

Nah been looking at TAA for ages will prob suck it up and leave that move. Should prob wait and see
Solanke to Bournemouth seems to be a done deal, is there any fantasy relevance to that?
That sounds to me like they may be planning to sell Wilson, since they don’t need strikers as urgently as other teams do. If Wilson goes to Chelsea he’ll be a must-have. Or Solanke may just be to replace Defoe as a reserve striker.

Yes I can and probably will do that. But like Hazard last week, she may find a better pick between Haz, Kane, Salah, Arnie, Pog than I would choose anyway.

Thoughts on Rashford? Is he still a good pick or is it too late for the party? Lukaku doing well, Sanchez back, surely there’ll be rotation?
Yeah I’m not sure. He’s playing well currently it’s hard to see him being dropped. However yeah Lukaku and Sanchez does worry me about his minutes
I’m keeping him: 4 goals and 2 assists in last 6 games. He’s in good form.

Depends on your other fwds I think. If you’ve got 2 of Kane/Kun/Auba and he’s your 3rd prob not. I’d go cheaper and spread the wealth. If you’ve only got 1 premium and looking for a mid-priced punt might be a decent shout.
That said, I’ve got Kane /Auba/ Rash and I’m holding all 3 for now.
