Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21. If you made it this far without missing a deadline give yourself a pat on the back. And if you think you’re tired just imagine how the players are feeling! This is the last GW in the marathon Christmas period though, so you them and us all can breathe a sigh of relief and take a break for a week or so to recover.
New Year’s Day itself has a disappointingly low number of fixtures with just three games this year, for some bizarre reason. Everton and Leicester kick us off at lunchtime before Arsenal and Fulham play the solitary ‘traditional’ 3pm game on their lonesome. Cardiff and Spurs bring up the rear at 5.30pm.
We then skip to Wednesday evening for the bulk of this week’s action with 6 games in total. The remaining one is on Thursday night and should in theory be the game of the week, if not the whole Christmas period, or indeed the season. If only they all had any legs left… Oh, it’s Man City vs Liverpool by the way. Cracking time to play what may be a season decider that isn’t it?!

That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

I’ve got Auba not Kane, but TBH I wouldn’t recommend buying him (Auba) right now. He’s playing too wide for my liking and, although in the end that didn’t matter today, most defences are stronger than Fulham’s and won’t give him so many chances from there.
Tempting fate I know, but I don’t see Kane getting a big haul today. Spurs were said to be tired in their last match, and Cardiff seem well capable of taking advantage of that. I don’t see them playing a suicidal pressing game like Everton did. Of course I stand ready to be proved completely wrong.

What’s with Auba not on for a bonus with a goal and an assist? Yet those above him only have a goal or an assist!?

I’ve got Auba (c) — it’s frustrating — but you can see why when the rest of the match (and everyone’s play in general) is considered. He wasted a lot of chances.
He missed a lot of easy chances I think
Not having auba is hurting me as all my rivals have him but I don’t. Although I have Salah and most of them don’t. Should I be looking to get auba in? Not really sure how unless I lose kane

@Gavy Just chill out and enjoy the GW…take a break of a week after tomorrow’s games and then reorganize your thoughts. Otherwise you will be shuffling boats. POOL, UTD, SPURS, ARS all are scoring…CHE also has a nice fixture and playing well – just not scoring like others, but very close. Same is City and they will fire soon. There are plenty of options and its really nice as it will break the template.

Cardiff is so poor that it can be 9-0 today (1 goal every 10 mins). Missed the SON train altogether.
