We then have a bit of a bumper Saturday with 7 games in total. Palace and Arsenal start proceedings in the early one before Chelsea look to get back on track as they host Burnley, Everton will be hoping Brighton don’t take their reserve team to Goodison, Vardy faces Ings in a shootout, Man Utd welcome Norwich and Wolves wonder which Newcastle will turn up at Molineux. The evening game then sees Klopp take his juggernaut to see how big a bus Jose has deployed.
Just the 2 games on Sunday as Bournemouth host Watford before Man City visit Villa in the last game of the week.

Currently on 53 points with kdb and harry Wilson left to play.
Kept armband on rashford over vardy which paid off BIG time.
Shame rashford subbed off in 58th minute which cost me 2 points.
Up to 27,119 in or rankings.
Also still in the cup and will be progressing to the last 64,000; well somebody has to win it.

Good show. Well up on the average and nice when the captain works out.
I think I managed one year to get to week 30 or 31 in the cup – best I’ve done so far. I was gutted when I got knocked out.

At the time I wasn’t aware it was that good but in retrospect it was probably the best shot I’ll ever have. I was dreaming of the football signed by Norwich’s reserves, or whatever it is one wins.
Usually I’m torpedoed by a ghost team.
Cant be many ghost teams left after six rounds.

Plenty in my experience of losing to them in the cup. You know – ones stuck on say Kane(c) or whoever was trendy for GW1 of whatever season. Often, to make it worse, most of their players are injured. I think one year I lost to a side of 7 players. But I am not alone in this.
It’s a bit like seeing your number 1 song dispaced at the top of the charts by a rerelease.

Hey guys I hope everyone is having a good game week, I’m on 50 with kdb to play, after giving Rashford the armband. Anyway my plan all along was to bring salah and Ings in for Alli and Rashford. Now I’m not so sure. Any ideas? I have 1.7m and 1 ft.
Same dilemma. I’ve invested too much in rashford to simply give away.
What about Firmino (9.3£)? You are 0.1 short of direct Jimenez swab, but Alli to Rechalison for instance can do the trick.

I understand your desire to acquire Salah, but your reluctance to lose Rashford.
Can you afford Alli+Maddison > Salah+??? (whoever you can afford from the likes of Traore, Fleck, Cantwell or cheaper)?
How about Alli and Hanley to grealish and Robertson?

Those transfers look good for GW24 although Wolves fixtures get much harder from 24 to 26 inc
I was thinking last night about who I may swap Jiminez with once Wolves’ fixtures take a bleak turn. But they’ve a fine record in the tricky games – doubles v Man City, for example – so my pessimism may well be unfounded.

43 with KDB to play today. Not the best result as Jimenez (c) blanked for me. Thinking ahead to the DGW, is Firmino worth a look with Salah being difficult to add to TAA & Mane? Robbo a better option?
In a straight pick for the DGW I would choose Firmino over Robertson.
I suppose arguments around the balance of the rest of the side would need to be considered as well. In the sense that the three Liverpool players that we end up with – if we haven’t already got them – are likely (given Liverpool’s form and their fixtures) to be permanent fixtures in the weeks that follow GW24. And from that, the impact on the rest of the side.
On 40 with KDB (C) and Grealish to play, hoping for a double digit score from Kev. Just below the average score currently but I suppose I still have my Captain to play. Would like to hit 60, reckon that will be decent.
