Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 22

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 22. Happy New Year! Coming thick and fast these game-weeks aren’t they? And this one is our first DGW of the season with Spurs and West Ham having two matches each. It is their rearranged derby that concludes our GW on Thursday, but before then we have three days of action. Today sees five matches – the lunchtime fun sees a south coast battle as Brighton host Bournemouth. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy then at 3pm we have the Liverpool attack vs the Burnley defence, Leicester welcoming Huddersfield and Newcastle travelling to Stoke. The evening fun takes us to Goodison with Rooney inviting his old United mates over for a drink. And extras.

Tuesday sees four further matches in the evening – Palace go to Southampton, Swansea host Spurs, West Ham and West Brom meet and Man City pound Watford.

The best is yet to come. Wednesday sees just one match, but what a match as Arsenal meet Chelsea at the Emirates.

Our New Year extravaganza then comes to a conclusion with Spurs’ and West Ham’s double date at Wembley.

Time to go large, score well and enjoy!

    INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY RESULT!
So the FF247 Lions tamed the very competitive Malaysian Tigers in a closely fought tie! 14-8 does not seem close, but 7 legs to 4 and total scores of 840-843 proves if the lineups had been different, obviously the score could have been different! Init in his pursuit to greatness lead the way with a top score of 70 pts even after a -4 hit! Our defenders came out on top 3-4, Matt leading the way with 69-59 win, the sub score of 55 being of no use to help out the unfit DMC as his opponent scored 63, the midfield.. We got a bit of whooping here with only Igy winning his leg 63-49, our sub Kop with 45pts could not beat any of their 3 winning scores! 5-4 to the Lions going into the forwards results, where thankfully GP and Horse both won their legs against probably their sides 2 top opponents with close scores of 58-60 and 66-68, it seems i also wasted Silvers fine score of 64 as the forward sub! So as the Malaysian fantasy world goes into morning, i would like to thank all the FF247 team for allowing the game to go ahead, its been fun and i think we have a rematch in GW35 to look forward to, thanks again 😉

      Thanks for the update Padster!

Means I can go back on FB and give their goalie some sh*t again smile

On a serious note – I actually assumed that this was a weekly comp from now until the end of the season, not just a 1 week romp. I’d imagine most others did too. Any reason it can’t be?

We do it on twitter with the Ryder Cup thing. That ones obviously UK vs USA, we score it based on a weekly win so for example right now we would be 1-0 up overall.

I will have a word with their admin Askar Babby,I know he is busy running multiple tournaments at the moment involving 100’s of players, so it would be more about time, i don’t mind running this side as long as everybody is happy in their positions and we do not play the tactical version during blank and dgw’s involving selecting your team on who is playing chips, I have enough of that with teams I’m involved with in leagues and tournaments already, i will have a word and see what we can come up with! smile

Get in there!! Many thanks for this Padster. I think it would be good to make this a more regular thing. Maybe not weekly if their admin is time strapped but once a month would add another dimension to FPL and just give everyone another thing to look forward to.

Good stuff Padster yes would be good to keep it going but warming the bench is not what I’m used to but quite willing to step in when needed 😉

FF247 LIONS UK v TRIDOS TIGERS MALAYSIA! So after our 1st round win, shit’s just got real, back by popular demand (all 3 of you) this has now become a weekly fixture in which changes can be made to our lineup, I’m going to keep it simple for my own sanity! Our spine and exempt from substitution will be Init (GK), And Horse and GP both forwards! I will be sub permanently for the forwards, simply because i think they will not need replacing very often, and Joanne will be the permanent replacement for Init for the same reason, the mids and defence are open for change on the simple fact lowest scorer of the gw will be replaced by the highest scoring sub for the next gw! Nice and simple, so this is our line up for this gw26, enjoy! smile

    INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY RESULT!
So we suffer our first and hopefully our last defeat 12-8, without trawling through all their teams, i can only imagine this will be down to captain choice, we had our first tie 43-43 which couldn’t be decided on captains points, so went to goalies! DMC and Kop came on to rescue a point each, but the damage had already been done, all i can say about this gw is it’s best forgotten and move on back to winning ways gw27! Here’s to next week sad

International friendly round 3! Malaysia 1 -1 UK, so after our disappointing defeat in gw 26, this is the line up for gw27, I’ve just changed the lowest scoring mid and defender for higher scoring subs, I’ve had a bit of a pounding on Malaysian fb for the last result, luckily I’m thick skinned and can handle anything they throw at me, but i cannot bare the thought of them taking the lead or the unmentionable beating us overall, so it’s back to winning ways lads and lass! 😉

FF247 Lions 1-2 The Malaysian Tigers!
So time to get back to winning ways for the Lions, hopefully all players will be refreshed and ready to whoop some ass!

Another crushing defeat for the FF247 Lions to the Malaysian tigers 13-8, Wins for Silvers, Cookie, Horse and GP saved us from complete humiliation! The probable only difference between teams was captain choice, where the Salah captainers sneaked the wins, Hopefully we can get back to winning ways before its too late 😉
