Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24

Let the fun begin! We could be about to encounter a number of DGW’s on the bounce and DGW24 is the first of those, albeit with just the 4 teams playing twice.

We begin on Saturday and end on Wednesday but it is also worth bearing in mind that DGW25 then starts less than 48hrs later, on Friday evening.

Leicester and Liverpool get us under way @12.30pm on Saturday and this is followed by Palace & Burnley @3pm, Man City get their double under way @5.30pm vs Spurs before Brighton & Villa see Saturday out @8pm.

Sunday is a similar marathon with Saints vs Wolves @12pm, Man Utd going to West Brom @2pm, Arsenal welcoming Leeds @4.30pm with Everton & Fulham getting their respective doubles under way @7pm.

Just the two on Monday as West Ham welcome Sheffield Utd @6pm and Newcastle go to Chelsea @8pm.

The ‘bonus’ games occur on Wednesday with Burnley & Fulham boring everybody @6pm before Everton & Man City should hopefully wake us all up again @8.15pm.

The games in full…

  1. Can quite honestly say he has been my best move i made all season ..

    • :good: – well done! Probably one of my worst decisions of the season by not having him!!

      • +1. And yet still not planning on being him in

    • One of my few good decisions getting him early

      • Same. There’s always certain players like this every season that just keep on giving and giving.

  2. All along I was planning to BB this week, but too many yellow flags made me confused. I wish, I would have BBed. First time this season, I had 2 playing keepers and both scored well. I want to quickly go back to my 1 keeper strategy immediately after BB, otherwise it will be an additional headache.

  3. Give or take, 95 points after BP on day one. I’ll take that

  4. I know its early but would you BB this? Would be for a -4.

    Pope
    Dias Stones Mee Dallas
    Gundogan Bruno Salah Son
    Bamford Ings

    Martinez Watkins Bednarek Raphinha

    • I’d probably wait and see what GW26 brings before activating that (or making any transfers).

    • Yeah I would. You can wait and see what 26 looks like but it won’t be better than that

      • I’d be anxious about Gundogan’s tight groin: it could get tighter. Then old LRL will be on a -8.

        • Yeah that’s a different story. Think he might be ok

        • Generally early transfers are not worth it now unless funds are tight which doubt they are here

        • Hopefully the funds won’t be as tight as the aforementioned groin.

        • Frankly though I’m more worried about the state of Bartlomiej Zdybowicz’s mind, given the comment above.

        • I leave them on my screenshots for comedy. I mean the comments are usually so idiotic

    • Thanks all

  5. Happy with day one!

  6. Gutted that I didn’t captain Gundo. But, if Sterling scores in the next game, I’ll be happy. I know not as good as Gundo’s 29, but, 15-16 shall be nice. Hope to touch the 100 pointer this time. Good start. On 56(-4) right now with 10 players to play. Good days. Climbing up the ranks slowly. Cheers all

    • * Gundo’s 19.

    • Great start to the week Constantine! Those green arrows keep coming!

    • And it’s entirely possible that Gundo is rested for CL and Sterling gets a hat trick in the next game and is the star captain choice.

      • Cheers GentleBen. Yeah, really hope Sterling to get into the scoresheet in the next game. Gundo has done his part for the week i think. If I talk about wishes, really want Maguire and Holgate to shine. They are my differentials.
        Awesome score for you too.
