Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24

Let the fun begin! We could be about to encounter a number of DGW’s on the bounce and DGW24 is the first of those, albeit with just the 4 teams playing twice.

We begin on Saturday and end on Wednesday but it is also worth bearing in mind that DGW25 then starts less than 48hrs later, on Friday evening.

Leicester and Liverpool get us under way @12.30pm on Saturday and this is followed by Palace & Burnley @3pm, Man City get their double under way @5.30pm vs Spurs before Brighton & Villa see Saturday out @8pm.

Sunday is a similar marathon with Saints vs Wolves @12pm, Man Utd going to West Brom @2pm, Arsenal welcoming Leeds @4.30pm with Everton & Fulham getting their respective doubles under way @7pm.

Just the two on Monday as West Ham welcome Sheffield Utd @6pm and Newcastle go to Chelsea @8pm.

The ‘bonus’ games occur on Wednesday with Burnley & Fulham boring everybody @6pm before Everton & Man City should hopefully wake us all up again @8.15pm.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 24 from all at FF247!

Thanks for reading Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24.

      Rosco says:

FYI this was more about the site than my own deluded self worth!

      • Brookyboy says:

He is prone to sense of humour failures.I know first hand ! smile

      • AJW says:

We’re all behind you Rosco! Good on you mate! Got on the Lowton + Captain Gundo train myself – what sort of percentages are we looking at? I suppose they’re not unpopular picks?
Anyway, YOU are the boss-man Rosco! Make sure you don’t get poached by ‘The Scouts’, okay?
You will have deserved the Sunday champagne this week mate! smile

      • Kralin says:

You wonder if people understand the notion of hubris.

Not that I fully understand what’s going on here.

        • AJW says:

Hahaha Kralin, rightly so! ‘Hubris comes before a fall’!
People I think, are just getting behind Rosco, as apparently Joe from FF Scout has claimed the ‘gloire’ of tipping Lowton to the FPL community. In fact (apart from it being an exceedingly lucky occurence) I think the majority of Lowton backers (myself included!) were attracted by his price and value (are they the same?). FF247 have as much claim to the ‘Lowton Lowdown’, as any Az, Joe or David! (As there are no Tom, Dick or Harry working over there!) smile
          Cheerio old chum!

        • Kralin says:

OK thanks. Oh dear. A while ago someone tipped me off about the Scout site so I made the mistake of taking a quick gander at the comments section.

Maybe it’s been cleaned up but what I saw would drain the bloom from anyone’s loveliness.

        • AJW says:

I think it’s a rather busy thoroughfare, so there’s less solidarity and mutual support, from what I’ve seen. But there are several writers over there who seem to really know what they’re talking about, which seems good. I wish them no ill, as it is a bigger site, so we can’t really compare. We’re lucky I guess, to have so many like-minded individuals onboard (AND people who know their football!). Don’t you think?
Enjoy the rest of your evening Kralin.

        • Kralin says:

I think there’s a good mix here and that critically enough take it seriously but not that seriously.

I’ve never prowled round the other sites enough to get a real sense of what’s on offer.

        • leeboy104 says:

FFScout is a real mix; lots of activity with some good advice but some real drivel gets spouted in the message boards. So much gets posted that your message often disappears quite quickly. It’s a more chilled vibe here with a bit of a slower pace.

        • inittowinit says:

FFScout used to be a great website. And the podcast used to be good too.

          And then Mark left.

    SAFs_hairdryer says:

Unbelievably none of the top 7 ranked players in the game own and captained Gundo. Is this the week I jump 700k places and steal top stop?

  3. 45
    s says:

Damn it. I switched captain last min.
    Gundo to Bruno :dash:

    SAFs_hairdryer says:

When will we know the fixtures for GW26?

    Shadow says:

Tight groin apparently for Gundogan, probably nothing serious but reckon he’ll be rested for Everton.

      AJW says:

Oh well – he still got a huge haul at least. Great stuff and the man played a very solid match. If he has a break against Everton, then he’s royally deserved it. If he plays however, even 4 points would take him to ‘legend’ status (‘mongst us Gundo Captainers!). Seriously though, I think he probably merits the night off against the Toffees. Imagine the carnage that could have been if City had little Leroy Sané still playing for them? Anyway, enjoy Brighton v Vila all ye who deign to watch! 😉

    MHD says:

    Man, Martinez is a beast.
I’ve him benched for Pope though. Hope he can outscore him.

    • 48.1
      leeboy104 says:

Was going to post about him but decided to wait until full time to avoid jinxing him. 12 points tonight after making 9 saves, ridiculous. He could conceivably outscore Pope or at least run him close from one game, great player.

    • 48.2
      GoalMachine says:

Looking unlikely now…….4 points against Fulham. I do not see a CS there, only if Pope can save lot of shots or Fulham misses target scoring 0.

      • Kralin says:

Whatever happens* will pretty much = even-stevens in terms of points so both Martinez and Pope owners will walk away from this GW equally happy. Chums with arms flung over each other’s shoulders. And that is something to cherish, don’t you think?

        * unless Pope gets sent off or scores an own-goal or goes insane and thinks he is the pope and starts wafting incense around and praising the holiest in the height.
