Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25.And so we go again after a very short turnaround, little thinking time was afforded and all that with a big DGW to plan ahead for. Well ok, we say big, these things do tend to get get blown out of all proportion. Add to that trying to second guess which, if any, Man City players get a third game in 8 days and you have to begin to wonder whether it was worth any thought in the first place…

There’s a lot of football to be played before we even begin to think of that ‘extra’ game though and we begin on Saturday with Spurs hosting the newly crowned ‘Champions Of The World’ Newcastle. Or you’d have thought so anyway, if anyone saw their fans on Tuesday night. Bless them, the bare bellied lovable neanderthals.

The rest of Saturday looks fairly unenticing if we are being perfectly honest with you, as other than Chelsea most of the big boys play on Sunday or Monday. And we can only assume the Saturday evening game between Cardiff and Bournemouth is a contractual obligation, at the pain of death.

Leicester host Man United on Sunday in the early one before the main attraction of the weekend which is Arsenal vs Man City at 4.30pm.

Liverpool will look to hammer more nails in Pep’s coffin on Monday as they visit West Ham, before the week finally plays out on Wednesday with that hallowed ‘extra’ game, which sees Everton trying to repair the damage by lying down for Man City, legs akimbo; ‘come on big boy, you need three points and some goals yeah, take them…’

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 25 from all at FF247!

VC Slah blanked. I really hope Sane plays now. And scores a hattrick. And Aguero doesn’t play. That’s a lot to ask!!

FOR ALL THE SANE OWNERS: (from reddit) I share the same emotions.

Ah Pool – why hast thou forsaken me??? I wake up on this frosty winter morning, expecting to read that Mo & Robbo have staged a magnificent late rally to down the Hammers by 1 or 2 last minute goals BUT …..what do I find? The Guardian tells me that they were held to a 1 all draw, and FPL reports (in true Scrooge fashion I might add!) that my 3 Liverpool big guns have all scored 2 points each!!!!! Now I have to rely on Kun (Come on Pep – give him a go! It’s a game they really need to win & they can’t win it without Sergio!) and Danilo (Oh Pep – ffs – give my latest recruit at least ONE match in this DGW. Hey Pep – you might be capable of winning the Premier League, but you couldn’t coach a fantasy team for nuts!) to move me towards that magical mark – the holy grail of FPLers!
Phew, early morning rant, one and all! Gonna have brekkie! Hope all’s well wi’ you! :)

      Liverpool, made to disappoint!

      • secretzorro says:

Well not me, I’d love it, absolutely bloody love it if they lost the trophy in the last minute of injury time during the last game of the season. bloody love it.

Sour, ill-humoured trolling of Liverpool fans is so FFF, SZ.

I’ve been enjoying MU’s resurgence under OGS – and not just because of the points their players have been getting me.

Why not try to relax and use your long experience as a fantasy manager to actually help a few managers, rather than try to wind them up? It may do you a bit of good.

Once a prat, always a prat!

        • secretzorro says:

OK, soz K, I’ll be good now.

        • AJW says:

No worries mate! Not a Pool fan – only a proud owner of team with Mo, Bobby & Robbo as members, so you could imagine my enthusiasm for them scoring! Oh AND an admirer of their playing skills etc. Especially Salah. I think he’s a great symbol for the game (except for the occasional dive! But it doesn’t actually go with his character!). So no offence ta’en!

        • secretzorro says:

AJW, At least you’re ok with the odd comment, yeah the ‘trio” have been a joy

        • AJW says:

No probs Zorro – am always setting myself up anyway! Quite like the self-derision on this site – it makes you feel comfortable when you (kindly) take the piss out of others (and they laugh at it!) . See you round!

        • inittowinit says:

That is a good trait of most on here AJW, probably all too long in the tooth to take anything too seriously. Except perhaps for Rosco last night who was furious with AT for his comments on his article, he reet got his diva pants on. He does however have right of reply on his Tips article tomorrow so that should be interesting to say the least

Hope all’s well too. And will be interesting to see which team PG puts out tomorrow, now his side can retake the lead.

      • AJW says:

Albeit temporarily – almost ‘on credit’, with City having the extra game and then nowt in GW 27. Pretty good FPL and work week! Is that photo a still from a Hitchcock film? The mysterious Monsieur K!
