Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25.And so we go again after a very short turnaround, little thinking time was afforded and all that with a big DGW to plan ahead for. Well ok, we say big, these things do tend to get get blown out of all proportion. Add to that trying to second guess which, if any, Man City players get a third game in 8 days and you have to begin to wonder whether it was worth any thought in the first place…

There’s a lot of football to be played before we even begin to think of that ‘extra’ game though and we begin on Saturday with Spurs hosting the newly crowned ‘Champions Of The World’ Newcastle. Or you’d have thought so anyway, if anyone saw their fans on Tuesday night. Bless them, the bare bellied lovable neanderthals.

The rest of Saturday looks fairly unenticing if we are being perfectly honest with you, as other than Chelsea most of the big boys play on Sunday or Monday. And we can only assume the Saturday evening game between Cardiff and Bournemouth is a contractual obligation, at the pain of death.

Leicester host Man United on Sunday in the early one before the main attraction of the weekend which is Arsenal vs Man City at 4.30pm.

Liverpool will look to hammer more nails in Pep’s coffin on Monday as they visit West Ham, before the week finally plays out on Wednesday with that hallowed ‘extra’ game, which sees Everton trying to repair the damage by lying down for Man City, legs akimbo; ‘come on big boy, you need three points and some goals yeah, take them…’

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

    Hey good folks,

Got lucky with captaining Aguero – downsite is my mini-league rivals have aguero, and hazard and luiz….so back to square one…

Currently i have got Danilo (got him in for a hit), Sane and Aguero..

What should my next moves be? Sane to Son? Danilo to a cheapo like Bednarek?

    Current Team:
    Fab/Ste
    Luke Shaw/ VVD/Doherty/Wan B/ Danilo
    Pogba/Sane/JWP/Salah/Felipe Anderson
    Success/Rashford/Aguero

Any advice on how to catch up 80 points on rivals who have Salah/Hazard/Aguero?

Save this week, then Danilo to a someone and sane to son. I’d like to say Anderson to son but that’ll give some trouble in gw27…

I see a lot of people recommending holding the transfer this week, in order to give you two FTs for GW27. This is to allow you to gain as much info as possible on which teams will play in BGW31. This is a very fair strategy. But, it also means postponing adding players you want right now. You might, for instance, want Auba, Son, Jota, Mane etc. For me, it raises a question of whether you May be leaving points on the table by postponing transfers. My strategy will be to look at how many players i know i will have starting i BGW31, how many i can add (without taking hits) through FTs between GW27 – GW31, and whether there are any «likely outcomes» in the FA Cup 5th rnd fixtures. If you believe you’ll be able to field a decent 11, as well as bringing in players you want this week, i would go for «your guys» this week.

      • DMC says:

That’s all fair Pele, but how about bgw27? Every man and his dog will have 2/3/4 players that don’t have a game in 27 and only 2FT to prepare such gw. So either use one now (for instance Sane->Son) or save and reassess ahead of 27. That’s assuming you have a decent squad for 26 anyway, of course.

Never mind saving my FT, I’m probably going -4 this week!! smile

I was planning on saving my ft and sell digne the ahead of 27, but if there’s a better option i could sell him this week as I’m already set for 27, I’ll just bench sané. What defender would you choose? Got 5,8 to spend but I like to leave something itb…

Was thinking pereira who got some nice fixtures comming up, that would make keep digne against watford.

But is it better to go for TAA or shaw/lindelöf or kolasinac/koscielny/monreal, or someone else?

I’d hold. Any one of Digne, Bednarek and Wan-Bissaka could score well this week.

      ThePeleOfMissionary says:

Your team looks great, with the exception of the GK. It might not be worth using a FT on, so saving would probably be the best way to go. This way, you’ll have two FTs and knowledge of who’ll blank in GW31.

I do like Kolasinac against Huddersfield, so if you want him long term i would probably pull the trigger this week. If you’ going for Pereira, TAA etc i would roll the transfer.

    DMC says:

Aguero is owned by 30% which means 7 out of 10 people don’t own him. However, despite being on 50pts atm, I got a red arrow (granted the gw is still on) and lost 18k spots because of his haul. So my guess is that that % is much higher inside top 100k.
Bottom line is, we need ownership % for the top 100k, top 50k and top 10k.
