Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25.And so we go again after a very short turnaround, little thinking time was afforded and all that with a big DGW to plan ahead for. Well ok, we say big, these things do tend to get get blown out of all proportion. Add to that trying to second guess which, if any, Man City players get a third game in 8 days and you have to begin to wonder whether it was worth any thought in the first place…

There’s a lot of football to be played before we even begin to think of that ‘extra’ game though and we begin on Saturday with Spurs hosting the newly crowned ‘Champions Of The World’ Newcastle. Or you’d have thought so anyway, if anyone saw their fans on Tuesday night. Bless them, the bare bellied lovable neanderthals.

The rest of Saturday looks fairly unenticing if we are being perfectly honest with you, as other than Chelsea most of the big boys play on Sunday or Monday. And we can only assume the Saturday evening game between Cardiff and Bournemouth is a contractual obligation, at the pain of death.

Leicester host Man United on Sunday in the early one before the main attraction of the weekend which is Arsenal vs Man City at 4.30pm.

Liverpool will look to hammer more nails in Pep’s coffin on Monday as they visit West Ham, before the week finally plays out on Wednesday with that hallowed ‘extra’ game, which sees Everton trying to repair the damage by lying down for Man City, legs akimbo; ‘come on big boy, you need three points and some goals yeah, take them…’

  1. I know it’s early but is this worth a -4?
    Would have to do it tonight due to price rises/ drops
    Richarlison to son
    Agüero to Aubameyang
    Balbuena to Bednarek

    • NO.

      Miles and miles to still go this gameweek.

    • Yeah looks good to me! Richarlison needs to go anyway, he has a blank then tough fixtures, Aguero to Auba is also very clever, Balbuena to Bednarek would be just to afford it, right? Think that’s worth the hit!

      • Yeh just to afford it. 0.1 short.
        Plus been meaning to get rid of balbuena for some time

      • Yeah that’s true, depends on how safe he wants to play the game I guess… If he’s chasing I’d just do it, if leading perhaps wait… It’s just a game after all (something I seem to forget at times)!

  2. Jota or Jimenez? Jota is easier to get in for Richarlison

    • Sorry to throw in the spanner Smash but for consistency, it has to be Jimenez.

      • Yeah think you are right think I’ll just have to suck it up and get him in. Easy swap to Wilson later on in season as well

    • I was really tempted with Jota but will stick with Jimenez given his results.
      But Jota is a good replacement for Richarlison, if it’s easier for you he should still be a good pick, especially with their fixtures.

      • I have Richarlison so will have to change formation which is a pain. But then Kamara has gone anyway. Just Jimenez has been killing me and has a good run of games

        • I plan to change formation next week myself, for a hit.
          Back to 3-4-3 unless something unexpected happens. (I also have Kamara)

  3. Anyone got fantasy football fix is it worth the money?

    • We get given free passes each season and I don’t think anybody even bothers to use them, which probably tells you everything you need to know! I usually give mine to Raz. Not sure if he even uses it. The useful stuff they do is all free anyway; price rises and live FPL team points with rank.

    • Good for us I suppose, unless they’re all above 1M OR rank already… smile

    • Looking forward to watching him in MOTD, nice if we have another option to shake up the template !

      • Especially if Chelsea have a dgw !

      • Good thing is that he’ll be off the radar again by the time it’s ok to buy him (GW29). Might be worth pencilling him in and planning accordingly. Then again we may potentially have more DGW info to deal with by then.

    • On 53 from 6 after bp so very happy with that. My last weeks score was 37. Need a nice 0-0 in the city game tomorrow. Or arsenal can score just the 1 smile
