Well, after that super sized gameweek 26 that just passed we get an almost regular sized one in GW27. It is still a double, just not anywhere near the size of the one we just got through with.
This one kicks off with a lunch time meeting between Burnley and Arsenal. That is followed by three more fixtures featuring a little of everything from everywhere in the PL standings. Sheffield host the DGW darlings Saints, Villa welcome in Wolves and Leicester travel to Brighton in the late game.
Sunday brings us four more games including a match up only the immediate family of the players will watch when West Brom host Toon. Also on Sunday Liverpool play Fulham, that is followed by the Manchester Derby and the last game of the day sees the Jekyll and Hyde Spurs play Palace.
Monday gives us two more fixtures in an intriguing game when Chelsea play host to Everton and that is followed by West Ham who continue their fight to get bubbles in the Champions League next season.
The double is brought to a close by the two teams who are actually playing one. Saints take a trip to Manchester to play a City side that I am sure will leave plenty an FPL manager in a rage when they rotate the heck out of their Xl.

Question I have to ask myself now, who do I replace Salah with – Auba or Bale!!!

I didnt mention it Smash… just looking for possible gw29 players.
For those who are contemplating to sell Bruno, best is to ask Dane how it feels.
We’ve all dropped players and seen them do well the following GW. Like morning following night. Or there’s always someone on the bench who out-performs someone in the starting XI.
But for all we know OddDane plays in a ML where nobody owns Bruno. There may be some sort of logic in his move. I don’t know. One can be blasé about not owning players if OR isn’t an issue and nobody in one’s ML owns them either.
ok, my logic, and my reasons for doing so….
Salah->Bale/Auba = Salah is not performing how I would like, and need to be thinking about gw29 players.
Regarding Bruno – he doesnt have a match in gw29, so thinking of ditching him for one of the above players than I havent brought in.
I intend on WC’ing gw30 where I will most probably be bringing Bruno back in, depending on his fixtures. Although they do look suspect.
Considering the death-spiral Liverpool are in then I doubt you’ll be alone in replacing Salah this week. This GW was probably the final straw for most managers.
Re 29 then a lot depends on how many you want. It may be more prudent to just cover off the ones everyone will have – so Kane and Bale (and Son) are obviously going to feature very highly in terms of ownership and captaincy.
And all up against the mighty Martinez.
One thing to bear in mind is of course the looming BGW Spurs and Man City have so if you don’t have the FH to hand you may want to start a bit of planning on how to negotiate that.
If you are selling Bruno and buying him back, just check what price you bought him at. I bought at 10.5 so no way I’m selling to re-purchase.
Salah I get. Especially with GW29 coming. Though surely they win at some point. Selling Bruno in GW29 with the view to wildcarding and bringing him back sharpish kind of makes sense though even so you will be losing 0.5 doing that. As for United’s fixtures they are ok they are not that bad. They are 2nd in the league

Well I have 6 dgw players at the moment, so could potentially have 9 with the 3 transfers i will have (will have 2ft next week), but at moment have no playing goalie. Thinking either Auba/Bale this week, and the other one next week, and maybe a playing goalie in gw29. Then wc for gw30 based on the upcoming fixtures etc, with advice from people on here etc
Having the wildcard makes it much easier for you, even if you lose a bit of team value.
Might as well pile the 29 side as high as possible.

What’s even worse for me is that I have Stones, Cancelo and Gundo (C), and I am pretty sure at least one of them will be benched for Saints game. Moreover, I was thinking about Salah & DCL to Kane & Lingard and putting the armband on Kane. I don’t even want to do the maths here.

Smash, do you have any info on Everton possible double?
Yeah I’m sure City will make some changes it’s how many though. I don’t think they make more than five. Them losing might help for that who knows. Lingard can’t play v United so don’t do that. As for Everton v Villa I think GW30 is looking most likely now but nobody really knows

I doubt Cancelo starts, Stones might. Gundo probably (read hopefully) will.
I meant, I was about to do the Kane&Lingard move for GW27 (I have plenty of cover for Lingard vs United on the bench, as you can see above lol) but decided to give Salah one more chance…

That Everton double is why I brought in DCL. Sometimes these DGWs puts blinders on us….i should have done the necessary point hits to bring in Kane. Hindsight is 20/20 LOOL

Rudiger benched was not what I was hoping for. At least it allowed me to get Kane in. Not sure if I want him to come in for a point or just hope he doesn’t and hope Dallas can get something from the bench.
