Well, after that super sized gameweek 26 that just passed we get an almost regular sized one in GW27. It is still a double, just not anywhere near the size of the one we just got through with.
This one kicks off with a lunch time meeting between Burnley and Arsenal. That is followed by three more fixtures featuring a little of everything from everywhere in the PL standings. Sheffield host the DGW darlings Saints, Villa welcome in Wolves and Leicester travel to Brighton in the late game.
Sunday brings us four more games including a match up only the immediate family of the players will watch when West Brom host Toon. Also on Sunday Liverpool play Fulham, that is followed by the Manchester Derby and the last game of the day sees the Jekyll and Hyde Spurs play Palace.
Monday gives us two more fixtures in an intriguing game when Chelsea play host to Everton and that is followed by West Ham who continue their fight to get bubbles in the Champions League next season.
The double is brought to a close by the two teams who are actually playing one. Saints take a trip to Manchester to play a City side that I am sure will leave plenty an FPL manager in a rage when they rotate the heck out of their Xl.

Stick or twist on Vardy?
With Sheffield at home next could be worth 1 last punt. Then blank and city.
I assume you bring in a 29 player at that point

Tough one as he looks awful but has Sheffield United so you would probably want to give him that one
I’d twist. His returns have dried up, his supply injured and the team just seems in a bit of a slump. I’ve had Vardy at various points in the season and he’s been a very frustrating FPL asset.
Am I correct in thinking if I am free hitting next week I have to use a transfer this week as otherwise I will lose it?
Yes, after fh you will only have one free transfer. So in this case, use it or lose it.

I’m more tempted to hold it back for the week Spurs and City blank. Just go into 29 reasonably prepared. 8 or 9 players.
Maybe wise I’m struggling on numbers so think I’ll be using it. As in I’m struggling to get to 8
I’d forgotten the GW29 FH was your plan. In which case then not much to worry about.
I suppose in the City BGW you can just shift their players to the bench.

This. I only have 4 and Alzate. Probably should have set up wildcard better but I was kind of expecting to FH
I’d look at what 8 players you can get to and seriously considering holding the FH back.
I am but what am I really holding it back for. The other option is GW32 but I prob only need to swap the double Spurs
4 is tough but you also have 5 big players for gw33 that would seem a better use for you.
3 players over the next 2 gws should see you through I’d say. Maybe even 2.
DCL to Bamford and Neco to Coufal or Dallas should be doable?
I’d say you would be there or there about then? Like who else would you have optimally? A Brighton defender and someone like Raphina or Lingard? Those 2 are not worth you losing your FH for 33
Im not sure its 33 – could be 32 – whenever City play Spurs in the cup final
Yeah sorry it’s 33. Yeah I don’t think it looks great. Would prob be Raphinha and Bamford for DCL and Alzate which makes 6 and prob Konsa which makes 7 on a -4. FH at least I get eleven out and yeah it would be punts on Bale and Auba.
I’m in the same boat (only have 4) and I’m going FH. The way I see it, pretty much everyone will be in the same boat come 33. Plus we’ll have 4 FTs between now and then to sort it
Either way, your transfer this week should ideally be someone who features in 29. This gives you more flexibility next week.

Just FH in 29 otherwise you will end up messing up your nice team and will be in a worse position come GW30. I think GW33 will be less of an issue.
Hey Smash! Have you tried to make a FH draft for BGW29…it’s a bloody nightmare to put one together!
That’s what puts me off. I look at the fixtures and have no idea who’s likely to score big, not to concede, etc.
Yeah thought it looked alright. Can pick whoever you want Auba, Bale, Son, Kane, the Leeds boys plus Brighton defence
