Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28. Back so soon? Hopefully these random deadlines will be playing havoc with your mini-league rivals. And equally, hopefully not with you. Before we move on then, it’s probably worth noting that the next deadline is on Saturday, a mere 3 1/2 days from now. That one will be less of a surprise, but it’s always worth knowing.

Tuesday looks like a parade of the perennially mid-table / relegation battlers. Cardiff could actually go within 5 points of Everton with a win and we aren’t sure if that says more about Neil Warnock or less about Marco Silva. Huddersfield are pretty much done for and the Wolves are at the door. Brighton are not safe yet and will be looking to pull Puel closer to his own exit. Neither Newcastle or Burnley are mathematically safe just yet, a win for either would be a big step towards being so.

Wednesday brings an altogether more positive atmosphere with the big guns all on show. Sort of. Arsenal kick us of in pursuit of their main prize against Bournemouth; 4th place. Southampton and Fulham continue to defy our criteria with a true relegation battle. Chelsea and Spurs then look to threaten it, before the real big boys come in to play as Palace (no, not you!) host Man United, Liverpool grapple with Watford and Man City play with West Ham.

The games in full…

Few good scores and few disappointing ones on here it seems tonight! Not too bad for me and glad I saved my ft and captained Kun instead of Salah. That’s rotten luck Pancho, I hope your meeting was more important than your fantasy team 😉

@Init – if you see Mito, can you pls tell him he can come out from behind the sofa now.
The Real-Barca game ended almost an hour ago :hippo:

The less said about this GW the better. Big red arrow heading this way. There are a few moves I’d like to make but can’t decide which and my team looks ok for the next GW.

What should I do? I’m happy to bin my whole midfield bar Pogba and although I’d like Miki he has rough fixtures. As it stands I have 11 for the DGW and will FH in BGW31.

I agree, I wouldn’t go for Mkhi – it just feels like a trap! I think it may soon be time for Son to make a move out your team, though who for I’m not 100% sure myself. Suppose it depends on your chip strategy and how many players you’ll have playing in GW31 (Son won’t, for a start). I’d wait for news on Arnie first, though, and take it from there. There’s nothing dramatic in the price changes tonight, by the looks of it, so you should be ok.

Thanks Swirly. Sane is really pissing me off. Only 2 points in 4 games. He has to go. Tempted to get Mane but that doesn’t benefit the DGW and I’ll FH BGW31 so will get him then anyway. I’d also then want some City coverage back for the DGW. Nasri seems a waste of space but I can’t afford much else.

Then I’m looking at the defense but the most appealing options are Pool and they leave the same questions as Mane re fixtures.

Phew, bit of a rollercoaster of a gameweek! About five points from three last night but then 68 from the remaining eight tonight! Looks like I’m up to around 124k now, did get up to 70k at one point (all according to Fix, at least), but then Robertson and VVD doing well pegged my rank back.

Just need to work out what to do with my one FT and who to captain next gameweek!

How have you guys got on? Hope you’ve done well smile

Best starting thinking about my chip strategy!

Thinking I could build an okay team for 31 and 33 with a hit or two.

Then could FH 32, WC 34 and BB or TC in 35. The other chip being used later I guess.

But I actually have a few wolves, Man U and city players already which have a DGW 32 so could just build for that and FH in 31!

    Big decisions!

I think I would see if you feel you can get a better team for Gw 31 or 32 from here on and FH the other week. Personally I have 11 for DGW32 but only 3 for BGW31 so it’s an easy decision

Lads, thought I’d jump straight in and have a chat about my team. Richarlison has to go no doubt. Was thinking of these moves but could chose someone other than Zaha as he blanks soon. Maybe wood?

      Kralin says:

      Lasses, too.

For what it’s worth I’m holding onto Richarlison then moving him out for a Bournemouth player – probably – in GW30. Though neither Bournemouth nor West Ham are doing that much for me at (in the sense of being attracted to their players) the moment. I daresay I’ll come round.

Who will be your third Liverpool player? If you’re thinking Mane then it may be worth thinking about how to get him in your side.
