Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28. Back so soon? Hopefully these random deadlines will be playing havoc with your mini-league rivals. And equally, hopefully not with you. Before we move on then, it’s probably worth noting that the next deadline is on Saturday, a mere 3 1/2 days from now. That one will be less of a surprise, but it’s always worth knowing.

Tuesday looks like a parade of the perennially mid-table / relegation battlers. Cardiff could actually go within 5 points of Everton with a win and we aren’t sure if that says more about Neil Warnock or less about Marco Silva. Huddersfield are pretty much done for and the Wolves are at the door. Brighton are not safe yet and will be looking to pull Puel closer to his own exit. Neither Newcastle or Burnley are mathematically safe just yet, a win for either would be a big step towards being so.

Wednesday brings an altogether more positive atmosphere with the big guns all on show. Sort of. Arsenal kick us of in pursuit of their main prize against Bournemouth; 4th place. Southampton and Fulham continue to defy our criteria with a true relegation battle. Chelsea and Spurs then look to threaten it, before the real big boys come in to play as Palace (no, not you!) host Man United, Liverpool grapple with Watford and Man City play with West Ham.

The games in full…

    Hi all,
    2FT and 1.8ITB. Thinking of doing Auba to Vardy and Wan B to TAA? Is TAA over Robertson foolish?

      Auba to aguero feels like the way to go for me.

      And i don’t think that Robertson will outscore TAA enough to be worth 1,5 more…

      Auba->Vardy + WanB->TAA makes perfect sense.
      I’d say – go for it.

      Aguero has already played a bazillion mins and is very likely(almost sure) to get rested as soon as Jesus gets fit (which is around the corner / the Cup game against SWA at the latest).
      Then again, going w/out Kun in the next 2 GW’s can seem pretty scary, but I believe Vardy is the safer and more logical choice, especially with LEI being one of not many teams which do not have a blank gw.

      Go with your gut, but I’d still go for Vardy&TAA.

      Cheers !

    Hey guys, I’m trying to figure out the best strategy for the the three hits and wc I’ve left.
    I’m thinking of FH for 31 and BB for 32. At the moment I’ve 8 for dgw 32 and 4 for 31.
    I could try to get 12-13 players for 32 between now and then. Any help welcome.
    Also any moves needed for this week. Thanks guys.

      Thinking Doherty to TAA and richarlison to mkhi for hit?

      • Maybe it would be better if you link your team so we can have a better understanding of your current situation.

        Like this, out of the blue, I’d say no.
        Doherty has CAR (H) next.
        I would keep him for one more week and then sell him (or bench him) as he has CHE(A) followed by a set of blank gw’s in 31 & 33 (sandwiched with their Cup game which coincides with 31 and their DGW32 where they play twice vs BUR-A & UTD-H).

        As for Mkhi – form says yes but their schedule says a big fat no!
        With TOT(A) & UTD(H) + 2 (A+H) EL games in between, followed by a Blank gw in 31 – it’s a deffo no.

      • mkencon says:

        I’d stay away from Mkhi. They don’t have that great of fixtures with a blank coming up. That’d be points chasing imo

      • db says:

        I wouldn’t mkhi doesnt have have the best next 2 fixtures then blanks!

    Morning everyone,
    What type of articles do you guys have planned between now and Saturday?

    Mr Bean says:

    Am currently planning for GW31 and GW33, with FH32 and WC34. This means I am looking at Chelsea, Leicester and Bournemouth players as they play in both 31 and 33.

    Have 6 playing in GW31 so far and can reach 10 with FT’s, possibly taking a hit to get 11.

    Next week I will be offloading Doherty and Jiminez, and have a few thoughts for the next 2 weeks:

    a) Son -> Fraser/Maddison this week, then Doherty + Jiminez -> David Luiz + King for GW30.

    b) AWB -> Lascelles this week, then Doherty + Jiminez -> Ake + King for GW30.

    c) Any other ideas?

    2FT, £0.2m itb.
