Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28
Look, it’s a regular gameweek with no blanks or no doubles and to be honest some of us are so thankful for that.
This super normal GW kicks off on Friday when Toon play host to Emi “Lord of the Clean Sheet” Martinez, for non-owners he is known as “that bastard that kills me every week, but I am too stubborn to buy”.
Saturday gives us four more fixtures. Leeds tries to slow down a surging Chelsea side in the early game. Palace then takes on West Brom which is followed by Everton welcoming in Burnley and the day is capped off with Fulham taking on Pep’s XI, whatever that might be that day.
Sunday also gives us four encounters. Saints tangle with Brighton, Leicester dismantle Sheffield, Arsenal and Spurs square off in the North London Derby and 2nd place Manchester United face off vs the 5th place Hammers in the late one.
Monday sees a close to the gameweek when Wolves takes on the 3 points out of their last 21 Liverpool. Geez!
The games in full…

Wolves v Liverpool
Actual centre backs playing, Fabinho in midfield. Let’s go Salah(c)!
Yup. It’s been a while since Mo hauled.
+1, my other 3 captain candidates scored a combined 6 points, so he’ll do well to do much worse!
I may be on my own here but apparently I’m rooting for Neto. The worrying thing is that I can’t even remember how or why I ended up with him
Well, it’s Kabak and Phillips so you may be rooting for a winner
I think a lot can be excused by the words ‘unexpected side-effects of the vaccine’.
I bought him weeks ago so I can’t even blame that!
‘Unexpected side effects of anticipating unexpected side effects’
Apparently Pool looks like had lost all interest in playing. I assume top players will leave at the end of the season and it will be a rebuild task. Klopp might also leave. Pool is exactly looking like the last phase of Dortmund under Klopp.
That’s an awful lot of fences you’ve just jumped.
If only we could add gifs, I’d have went with either Will Ferrell in Anchor man (laughing) or Iron Mike (laughing) great gifs
I don’t think Klopp will be going anywhere. Although he does feel like the type of manager who will exhaust him squad, both mentally and physically, over a short period of time. Pep is the same. Probably just needs a bit of an overhaul in terms of players to keep it fresh. A process which has already started.
That will be a run on Jota with Liverpool’s easy run of fixtures coming up a after the blank game week.
We’ll all have him in a few weeks time!
I’m tempted to get Jota
Yep, he will be an extremely popular transfer after so many unloaded Salah, especially if Son’s injury is serious. Perfect replacement with money left in the pocket.
If only there were a chip we could play called keep the spare change.
Be a fantastic Chip that would
Don’t look good for Rui Patricio
Injured?
Looks like a Jiminez like injury but I could be wrong
Looks like Rui Patricio is going to be alright
Panic over after Salah blanks again in a game of 3 halves
Phew…just come out from behind the couch.
