Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3

A lunch time kick-off gets us going this week when Wolves or as City likes to call promoted teams, dinner, face off. That is followed by four 3pm games. Arsenal and West Ham tangle in a battle to save face, that is accompanied by the two worst teams in the Premier League matching up when Huddersfield welcomes Cardiff, about the only team the Terriers will feel like they can take any points off. In the other two similar time fixtures, the Vardy-less Foxes take on Southampton and The Cherries play host to Richarlison’s Toffees. Our Saturday finishes with Liverpool putting a half a dozen past Brighton in the late game.

Sunday brings us another three games. Watford look for their third win this new season when Palace drop in, the other two fixtures see Fulham versus Burnley and the heavy spending Toon go against Sarri with his high pressing, no defending side.

Our game-week is brought to an end when styles clash at Old Trafford as United see Spurs come in for a visit. Should be fun watching Jose rally his loyal troops to get all XI behind the ball, while Poch implores his side to not let them out of the back.

Hey folks, hope you had a decent week. Which option do you like best? If B, which player?

    A. Richarlison > Walcott
    B. Richarlison, Luiz > Alonso, Fraser/Kante

Azpi to Alonso…..I should have done it after gw1….time to bite the bullet

Just swapped Alonso in for Luiz.

0ft, 0.2itb to sort the mess in midfield. Let’s see how tomorrow goes.

Walcott early favourite but Pedro/Mata/Milijoveic/Fraser also outaide punts.

We have almost identical back lines and mid. I did Rich to Wally. If I’d had more than 1 FT I might have been more creative but I think that’s your best bet.

    Thoughts on this early wildcard?
    – Hazard in, essential for next few months
    – Salah to Mane (I finally caved, the extra $3m is so important)
    – I went Sigurdsson as a POD, and allows me to bring Rich straight back in when hes back
    – Mitrovic is actually Firmino, this is to allow for Firmino to likely fall with Mitro increasing, could save me 0.2 before deadline
    – Thoughts on Peltier? Recon he will play again this year? If not, any other $4m Defenders to consider?
    – Any other $4.5m Mids to consider for Stephens?

I am thinking of getting Hazard as well. Hope he will be the best captain for the net few matches.

      • Kralin says:

Not sure he’ll be able to wrestle the armband off Aguero / Salah. It’ll be a brave manager who does do that, but it may pay off. And I suppose Aguero is going to be rested at some point.

      Kralin says:

I think I’d have Walcott ahead of Siggy. He’s in good form.

Liverpool’s fixtures go a bit wonky soon (Spurs, Chelsea, City all looming) so Ederson may be a better elite goalie.

I enjoyed Alisson’s hugely bonkers chip over Knockaert at the weekend though.

      No idea about Peltier.

We’re pretty much as you were with those 6.5 – 7m strikers. You could think about Ings though, cheaper and allows a bit more cash elsewhere.

Word is Peltier has lost his sport for now. Really sucks because we’ve missed out on 2 CSs

    Morning

Barring any injuries in the week this is wil be my team for GW4.

    Thoughts?
