Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30. We are back with a full and normal game-week, at least in terms of one that begins on a Saturday and has no more or less than all 10 teams featuring in it, don’t get used to it though; it’s one of the few remaining ones that will.
Palace and Brighton kick us off at Saturday lunchtime this week, with both pretending that one more win will see them safe. There are then five 3pm games; West Ham go to Cardiff with goals on their mind, as most teams do when visiting The Bluebirds these days, Bournemouth will do likewise at Huddersfield, Leicester will do likewise at home to Fulham and Spurs will do likewise away at Southampton. The outlier will probably be Newcastle and Everton. Stick an accumulator on with 4 obvious victories and a 0-0 in the latter and thank us later.
You won’t get long odds on it but you could easily include a Man City victory over Watford in the late game as a sure fire odds booster.
Liverpool will probably be looking to play catch up in the early game on Sunday at home to Burnley. Chelsea then face Wolves at 2pm before Arsenal and Man United see the GW out at 4.30pm in the chase for the 4th place trophy.
The games in full…

The League Codes for FF247 for the 2018/19 season are as follows –
Typical – I have Leno in my team and he does nothing… I take him out and he then scores 10 points whilst the player I brought in, Fabianski, gets a measly two!
Averages are in…
Should have refreshed my page first…
Sorry boss
74pts here…
And a big fat green arrow!
Perfectly fine mate, in fact it’s heartening to know that there’s a back up just in case I can’t ever do absolutely everything on my own.
GW30 averages :
Thanks HL 😉
Great week btw.
Thanks Cookie
Congrats on beating PSG 😉
Ole & the gang have caused an earthquake in Paris.
The Sheikhs are leaving and it seems Sarcozi will take over :whatever:
Hope UTD gets an easy opponent in the draw
We’ll take Liverpool 😉
You won’t, if we don’t get through
Hey all,
This is what I’ve got with 2 FT. Happy to take a -4 but not too keen on a -8 as I’ve got an important h2h this week.
Which are the best 3 out of these 4 to bring in:-
Higuain
Mane
Wilson
Fraser
Any thoughts appreciated
Cheers
The latter 3 for me. At least you know they’ll all defo play.
Thanks initt, that’s the 3 I’m thinking
Just worked out that if I went Brooks instead of Fraser and took the -8 i could get higuain too though
Is that worth it or just stick with the -4 and 3 of them?
Fraser with Wilson back seems like Stan & Ollie, or Morecambe & Wise. I’m not even sure Higuain is nailed after today, or even that he’s worth it if he is.
Ok thanks.
You got your plan sorted?
Not looked yet, but pretty sure it’ll involve a -8, if the right players are there for it.
I didnt actually want to look at it but it appears that the transfers and therefore price changes are in full flow so unfortunately it becomes almost a necessity sometimes
Mane, Wilson, Higuain, Fraser in that order. I like the suggestion of all of them well Brooks instead of Fraser
So would you go for the -8 and get higuain ,mane Wilson and Brooks then smash?
Yeah I think so. I’m not 100% on Higuain but kind of thinking not much to lose. As he plays in other blank and then you can wildcard out
I think seeing GW 31/33 as a sort of two-hander is the best way to approach it.
Seen over two GW the hits are more palatable.
Yeah think that’s how I’m looking at it. You get the team you want for GW32 with the free hit and you take the hit now for a player who plays both GW31 and 33
@Kralin – the two-hander approach works perfectly.
I’ve built my whole post WC strategy on that.
Another good week with 72 points. Could of been better but for 2 bad decisions. King instead of Wilson and taking armband off sterling.
Looking at doing either
Doherty and Jiminez to Ake and Arnie -4
Or
Sterling to Hazard.
Thanks guys
Sterling to Hazard.
Cheers Kralin. Is it worth it just for the 1 week do you think.
Having no idea what your plan is then I don’t know. You’ve probably spelt it out a few times but I wasn’t paying attention.
I’m generally ‘advising’ in the context of GW31/33 being a two-hander.
Cheers mate. Still have the 3 chips in place plus the wildcard.
Sterling to Hazard and Hamer to Boruc
That sounds good smash. Good way of getting rid of Hamer. The Hazard move is only for 1 week cos I want to keep Sterling. Don’t know is it worth loosing transfer value. Decisions
Had to share this !
Valladolid-Real Madrid
13’ Valladolid miss penalty
15’ Valladolid goal disallowed
19’ Valladolid goal disallowed
29’ Valladolid 1-0 Real
34′ Valladolid 1-1 Real
The referee dismissed 2 Valladolid’s goals in the 1st half.
When asking for assistance from the VAR room -> THERE WAS NO ONE THERE !!!
Shame there wasn’t footage of the VAR boffins avidly watching
pornographyan award-winning European art film instead of following the tantrums on pitch.I’d never heard of Valladolid before this evening. I’ve a feeling there’s much to learn, Doc, if I stick by you.
Once someone becomes a passionate footie gambler, everything changes.
Teams from European lower leagues become as familiar to you as a next door neighbor 😉 .
Are you suggesting that Mito was somehow involved?! That little b@stard does seem to get everywhere
I would not exclude that option, tbh
