You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone…
After days upon days, weeks upon weeks, months upon months of seemingly endless football we were all either exhausted or just simply indocrinated. To the point that the odd day sans a meaningful game seemed… well, just odd. Back to reality perhaps? Don’t bet on it, certainly short term you can’t as we have GW’s already being spread out to suit the TV audience and do not think for a second that this new phenom will stop after this season.
As for this weekend itself it is spread over just 3 days, but as is the norm now the games are handily spread out so that not one overlaps another. Funny that, isn’t it…
In theory you can sit down on Saturday at 12.30pm and watch Chelsea vs West Brom and stay there until Monday night at about 10pm when Wolves and West Ham conclude. You’ll have seen 10 games, about 960 minutes of football all told, done for 3 packs of beer and 20 bags of chips and probably have alienated your entire family. Enjoy! The games inbetween are below:

I could not find the MLS thread which was there a season back. Anyway, interested managers can join. I have not seen yet the rule changes, but guess will remain the same mostly.
Go back to the old rules and I’ll play. Weekly WC again and they can do one!
Plus, that final day Mito / Dempsey incident still hurts me to think about!

I like the weekly WC, because I spend for fantasy games:
– 30 minutes – 1 hour/week for MLS (thus, can’t spend too much time planning for the transfers)
– 30 mins/week before deadline for Scottish Premiership
– 1 hour/week for Bundesliga
– 1 hour/UCL week before deadline
– The bulk of the time goes to EPL (tragedy is that I do the worst in FPL compared to the rest of the leagues/tournaments).
Leave a little time for the cricket and the euros
Sorry weekly WC is still there. The main change is they’ve kicked out the fixed budget and reverted to team value gains/losses.

Both Chambers and Amartey are iffy. Would not put them on WC.
You could downgrade Johnstone to Forster and upgrade to playing defenders. Rest of team great.

Don’t forget Spurs have a dgw in 32. I’d have at least Son on a WC and then reassess.
Any thoughts on this WC? Am I making a mistake not having any city? Also not sure between Jota and lingard. Is double Chelsea still a good idea after last week?

Quite a few different teams to comment on there but overall I reckon it’s a no to double City defence; unlikely you’ll see both play, I’d have Lingard on a WC, I’d probably leave KdB alone and upgrade Vydra.
