Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 31
A relatively normal GW, certainly it is if you now consider the norm to be non-stop televised football from 8pm on Friday until 10pm on Monday anyway.
Fulham and Wolves kick us off on Friday night, with fantasy interest probably a bit thin on the ground.
Saturday is relatively short lived for once with Man City and Leeds at lunchtime, Liverpool seeking revenge on Villa in the 3pm game before Palace welcome local rivals Chelsea at 5.30pm. You get the night off after that. To watch Match of the Day.
Sunday is more elongated with Burnley and Newcastle easing us in, literally, as we all find some hoovering or ironing to do instead. Be a good one to earn some brownie points in as the next two look delicious. West Ham and Leicester will go at it at 2.05pm before Spurs and Man United do likewise at 4.30pm. Sheffield United and Arsenal see the weekend out at 7pm.
Monday sees us with two games, the early one at 6pm being West Brom v Saints before Brighton welcome Everton to conclude GW31.
Just be aware that GW32 begins on the following Friday, there are CL games in midweek again and that 32 itself is an odd one: Palace don’t play, Spurs play twice and it goes on for almost a week, but more on that next week.

What to do here? 1FT 1.7ITB. Some trouble brewing with DCL and Cresswell both flagged. Gundogan, and Dias missing GW33 and Alonso a rotation issue. Son and Iheanacho would be nice, but 0.2 short of DCl and Gundo out to them. Any thoughts?
Just DCL for Nacho. He’s a bit off the boil anyway.
Coady for Alonso or Cresswell. I like wolfs next 3 and he is pretty attacking from set pices.

It pays to be old & lucky. With Dias & DCL not playing, I got to sub in Watkins & Dallas which gave me 25 pts from the bench.
The luck of the Polish, I guess.Johnstone also chipped in with 12 pts and max bonus, so it was a good week all considered. I thought it was going to be a disaster. Now to TC Kane in GW 32.
Good on you mosc. Seem to have been missing the luck factor this season. This might be the first season for me, where I didn’t have even a single game with such good high scoring subs. Already thinking about the next season now.
It feels that some of the decisions I make work out when I least expect them to. Just keep on plugging away and I’m sure things will turn around.

Dunk would be my top scorer. Better than Jorginho though. Atleast won’t be the lowest ever for me, which I was fearing before Brighton game.
Got Lingard for a hit. Thinking of getting Lloris for another hit. Suggestible?
For the double I’d try and get Son, rather than a Spurs defender. Failing that, I’d start planning for BGW33 and get someone who will play such as Antonio to Nacho.
FPL still have Wolves v Sheffield at 15:00 on Saturday even though it has changed. Okay it only moved to 20:15 and stayed in the same game week so it’s not particularly material but I do like to have things up to date.
Otieno, would you bring in Son for Jota or Mount? Or Rudiger (don’t really want double CHE) for Coufal? Such a dilemma.

Son for Jota seems the obvious play for the DGW. I’m going to play double Chelsea defence but just play Holding or Fofana if you’re not happy.
