Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 33

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 33. It’s derby weekend in the Premier League! The lunchtime showdown is at Goodison as Salah, Mane and Firmino get to have unlimited shooting practice at Jordan Pickford in the Merseyside derby. Six 3pm matches follow with Bournemouth hosting Crystal Palace, Brighton welcoming Huddersfield, Newcastle travel to Leicester, Stoke could endure more pain as they clash with Spurs, Watford meet Burnley and Pardew-less West Brom play host to Swansea.
The early evening sees derby day move a few miles east to Manchester as City could clinch the title at home to United. How they would like that!
Sunday sees the final two games of the week – Europa lovers Arsenal host relegation threatened Southampton before our third and final derby of the weekend sees a London affair as West Ham travel west to Chelsea.

So 2 free transfers. Thinking Kane and Lingard in for Auba and Son. Struggling to think of anything else. Free hit next week

Hey Smash, my team is very similar to yours, and I’m in the same situation with 2 FT’s and FH next week. ‘Unfortunately’ I have DDG as well, so it means lingard isn’t an option, without losing a united player. In my situation I think I’ll be doing Auba & Son for Kane & Gross, but I’m really not sold on that decision. I’m tempted to lose Salah (crazy as that may be), but it still doesn’t open up any great options. If I were in your position I’m fairly sure I’d do as you’ve suggested.

Thanks Banjo. Yeah think I might have to do moves tonight as well which is not ideal. Yeah not sure on Groß but alternatives are not great

        Banjo,
You are on honeymoon right? Nothing better to do than respond to FFL questions?? smile. smile

        • banjomaker says:

Haha yea mate. Was supposed to be going out on a boat looking at dolphins, but it pissed it down, so treating you lot to my ramblings instead! I got to watch both matches yesterday and the gooners will be on in a bit… this is why I married her 😉

        • Leprechaun says:

Welllll, my humble advice is not to be perceived to taking a wife for granted. No matter how tolerant she appears to be, she may be keeping this information/behaviour “on file” for future use.
On honeymoon, you are on weak ground – and I don’t just mean the lovely sand of the Maldives Islands.
Don’t say you weren’t warned smile

      Are you playing BB, Smash?

Your Newcastle players would bother me (see mini dialogue with a Cookie yesterday). What about keeping Son and switching Salah and Dummett to 2 DGW players? Eg Eriksen + a defender.
      Just a thought.

      • Smash10 says:

Nah I think I’ll keep it for GW37. I don’t have triple captain left. I don’t fancy losing Salah fairly sure he’s back Tuesday and not completely sold on Spurs two fixtures. I don’t think Son starts both either but I am reluctant to let him go. I’ll see how William does today

        • Leprechaun says:

          Ah, ok.
Son may not start both matches but he probably will be on the field in both.
Nothing wrong with the Kane/Lingard plan

afternoon guys, just wondering when everyones intention to play bench boost. I still have my TC so wanting to keep this for Kane in GW37. My bench is quite strong do gw34 so thinking of playing it then.

    Likely bench would be

Lossl (Home Watford), hadegjonaj (HomeWatford), Daniels (liverpool away, Man UniteD home), Sterling (Tottenham Away)

      Hey Saloba,

My intention is B.B. this week.
      Keeping the TC for GW37.
I know many players will think that they should wait to B.B. the GW37 but there is a lot of rotation risk and a mix of teams that may no longer have anything to play for. As the say, “you pay your money and you take your chance”.
Best of luck with whatever you choose.

      banjomaker says:

If I had both I’d probably BB in 34 and TC in 37. As I don’t it’ll be B.B. in 37 for me!

Aaah that Aaron Ramsey transfer was one of the best moves I ever made. ^^

A little help if I may… I’m trying to figure out the best path to Kane. Which of these combos is best for the run in?

    1) Kane, Auba, Pogba & Son (leaves some pennies to do Smalling to Vertongen later, but also means selling Salah?!)
    2) Lukaku, Kane, Gross & Salah
    3) Lukaku, Kane, Son & any mid for 7.7 (with Salah sold!)
    4) Lukaku, Kane, Salah & any mid for 6.2?

    Thanks.
