Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36. It’s almost back to a
sense of normality for GW36. We saw ‘almost’ because we do have another Friday deadline this week (and while we’re talking about it, GW37 is the same). It’s Huddersfield’s chance this week to see if they can win the award for conceding the softest ever penalty to Liverpool as they visit Anfield. James Milner for captain anyone?!

We then move into the weekend proper and it’s a lunchtime kick off at Spurs as Poch’s men host their nemesis from the east end.

Four 3pm matches follow as Everton visit Palace, Fulham try and drag Cardiff down with them, we have a battle of the south coast as Saints host Bournemouth and Watford & Wolves get to re-enact their entertaining Cup semi-final.

The evening match sees Duffy & Dunk get another opportunity to taunt owners as they try and stop Newcastle’s modern day duo of Shearer and Ferdinand as Perez & Rondon stroll into town.

Only a few hours rest before our game-week comes to a close with Sunday’s final three matches.

Opening the show is Arsenal’s visit to Leicester before Man City have the chance to reclaim top spot as they go to Burnley.

The comedy is rightly left to the end as the spluttering divas from Man Utd and Chelsea meet at Old Trafford.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 36 from all at FF247!

Is there any chance either of Aguero or Sterling to have 100% no-show?

If Brighton survive this season, they have huge problems going forward. There is very little goals in this team.

It’s been a strange season. The good decisions (initial team selection, getting Son before everyone, Vardy/Tielemans, the bench boost and triple captaining Mané) have just about outweighed the bad (the first WC, not getting involved enough in the Wolves and Liverpool assets, Lucas Pérez, not captaining Aguero when I should have, not triple captaining Salah) but I’ve smashed through 2,000 points and 300k OR which is always my benchmark.

And what have I learned from this season that I can bring into next season?

    No idea.

      I’ll have a stab if I may;

Get more involved in the Wolves and Liverpool assets.

Buy Lucas Pérez at the end of the season.

      Captain Aguero when you should.

      Triple Captain Salah.

Split it in 5-10 matches range and see which part of the season went wrong. Just looking at your GW history, I believe Gw11-30 (middle part) did not go well. You can even nail down to smaller segments.
E.g. Gw17-25, I always play bad – consistently lacking in last 4 seasons and drop back and then I kind of make it up, but eventually end in 2200+ points and OR of 20-40k (my usual range). This is probably due to switch of fixture or missing the bandwagons during that time.

Btw, I also missed (C) Aguero in those high return weeks. I almost did not have Sterling the entire season. I missed the initial Mane train. I have taken 56 PH, still I managed my 2200+ score with 2 weeks to go. I always had a POOL def and Salah (mostly my C).

There was a bit of self-analysis going on last night using this tool.

It’s pretty good for seeing which sides dominated your team selection, the formations you used, performance against the (mean) average, which teams were best for providing points, etc. I’d recommend entering your id and taking a gander.
