Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36. It’s almost back to a
sense of normality for GW36. We saw ‘almost’ because we do have another Friday deadline this week (and while we’re talking about it, GW37 is the same). It’s Huddersfield’s chance this week to see if they can win the award for conceding the softest ever penalty to Liverpool as they visit Anfield. James Milner for captain anyone?!

We then move into the weekend proper and it’s a lunchtime kick off at Spurs as Poch’s men host their nemesis from the east end.

Four 3pm matches follow as Everton visit Palace, Fulham try and drag Cardiff down with them, we have a battle of the south coast as Saints host Bournemouth and Watford & Wolves get to re-enact their entertaining Cup semi-final.

The evening match sees Duffy & Dunk get another opportunity to taunt owners as they try and stop Newcastle’s modern day duo of Shearer and Ferdinand as Perez & Rondon stroll into town.

Only a few hours rest before our game-week comes to a close with Sunday’s final three matches.

Opening the show is Arsenal’s visit to Leicester before Man City have the chance to reclaim top spot as they go to Burnley.

The comedy is rightly left to the end as the spluttering divas from Man Utd and Chelsea meet at Old Trafford.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 36 from all at FF247!

Let’s see how he plays tomorrow but one im also considering.

      • Kralin says:

A defeat for Man U tomorrow would I think knock them out of the CL places for next season, which would be utterly disastrous for them. So will be very curious to see – not that I’ll be watching live – how things go, especially if they fall behind.

If they lose then I may reconsider the Rashford punt.

Sounds fine to me – but I speak as an owner of the Pog. Very nice fixtures to see out the season. In theory.

I’m thinking Rashford – probably for Vardy, unless Kun gets injured – too.

Yeah, the Sol-effect seems to have been worn out though. I’ve seen him do stuff I don’t understand. Not trying to control the game while he could with certain offensive players. Or at least try to turn it around. I think last week versus City he waited till the 80+ minute to counter the whole nightmare scenario the second half was.

So need to see United tomorrow.

      Smash says:

Yeah I’m considering that move. A lot depends on United tomorrow. Pogba has been turning up against the weaker teams

If they still are in the hunt for CL, so if they win Chelsea tomorrow, although seems like Pogba is on his way out of the club this summer so not really sure what he cares…

      Kralin says:

It’s all a bit tricky – the Son replacement. If he needs to be replaced.

The field is starting to narrow as we poke around in the dying embers of the season.

Pog could make an early claim to be one of the greatest beneficiaries of VAR who never was. Should rumours of him clearing off this summer be true. I’d like to think there’s one penalty left for the Pog.

      • Zed Leppelin says:

I don’t think Son needs to be replaced though, so there’s no push factor, if you’d make the trade it would be due to the pull factor, so we have to ask ourselves, is the pull factor of Pogba big enough?

        • Smash says:

Yeah that’s it really. Son does not need to be replaced. Pogba will be playing Huddersfield who are just so bad and potentially already relegated Cardiff. Well last home game anyway

        • Red Robbo says:

Replacing Son could be the last big differential pick of the season. He has huge ownership amongst the top 10K players – Pogba doesn’t figure. Could be great punt for a last push up the rankings.

Or of course it could go horribly wrong!

120 pts with Aguero and Laporte left to play 107k to 38k so just need Man City to mess up now and I’m a happy girl x

    hammerfan_lm says:

    general question.
If you played a 3-4-3 formation, and your 2 strikers didn’t ply for instance.
on your bench you have defender, defender, midfielder.
who would come on? both defenders, or 1st and 3rd?

    GoalMachine says:

How much resistance HUD will give to UTD? Considering its their last home match and they have nothing else other than pride to play for. I don’t like this kind of situations – sometimes small teams becomes super good especially in Gw37-38 timeline.

Like Fulham winning three in a row just now after being awful all season!

Huddersfield I thought gave a reasonable enough account of themselves in parts of the first half on Friday which was never going to be easy, especially after the very early goal.

I see United winning by a couple despite what Huddersfield do.

      Kralin says:

A bit but probably not enough to prevail.

Depends on the mood in the United camp I suspect.

If they lose today then the manager could use the game to give a few hopefuls a run out. Usher in the next generation. Give a rueful smile and pat on the back to those fading away.
