Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36. It’s almost back to a
sense of normality for GW36. We saw ‘almost’ because we do have another Friday deadline this week (and while we’re talking about it, GW37 is the same). It’s Huddersfield’s chance this week to see if they can win the award for conceding the softest ever penalty to Liverpool as they visit Anfield. James Milner for captain anyone?!

We then move into the weekend proper and it’s a lunchtime kick off at Spurs as Poch’s men host their nemesis from the east end.

Four 3pm matches follow as Everton visit Palace, Fulham try and drag Cardiff down with them, we have a battle of the south coast as Saints host Bournemouth and Watford & Wolves get to re-enact their entertaining Cup semi-final.

The evening match sees Duffy & Dunk get another opportunity to taunt owners as they try and stop Newcastle’s modern day duo of Shearer and Ferdinand as Perez & Rondon stroll into town.

Only a few hours rest before our game-week comes to a close with Sunday’s final three matches.

Opening the show is Arsenal’s visit to Leicester before Man City have the chance to reclaim top spot as they go to Burnley.

The comedy is rightly left to the end as the spluttering divas from Man Utd and Chelsea meet at Old Trafford.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 36 from all at FF247!

  1. Flipped a coin on Bobby or Vardy…. dam that coin

    • hopefully agent brendan and vardy can do us a solid next weekend!

      • Hey eresh, fingers crossed. I am praying for 11 city blanks now lol

    • I’m with you Gavy, except I had Vardy and Got rid of him for Firmino last GW… SMH

  2. well done to all vardy owners (especially innit) this week. 13 points ! what a beauty

    • Thanks! Brings my ML deficit down to 19. This is on!

    • Thanks, yes, those points have come in handy.

I’m thanking my lucky stars Deeney did what he did, because Vardy would have been out if he hadn’t.

I was thinking of bringing Rashford in for him next week but his form (V’s) has been utterly superb. I think he has a reasonable record against City. And the final game v Chelsea perhaps isn’t the ordeal that in theory it could be.

      • Glad you stuck with him – me too! Vardy’s form is scintillating – match next week vs MCI should be a walk in the park.

Imagine if Rodgers’ Leicester is the team that sink City’s hopes and gives Liverpool the advantage.

Vardy is staying in my team for the rest of the season. Wilson probably won’t be going anywhere either. If anything, it’d be Jimenez to Rashford. But he’s got Fulham next week!!

        • Yes – he’ll be staying, unless I can overthink a good enough reason to let him go.

  3. I did Vardy -> Firmino for GW35. Since then Vardy has 3 goals and 6 BPs and Firmino has 2 pts…

    • Bad luck. As mentioned above, he was very close to the exit from my side.

  4. This is how wrong refs can take a game away

    • VAR will fix few things next season…do you think number of PKs will increase?

      • 100% GM. And incorrect goals/decisions shall decrease. Good for football. Ot would take away some excitement though.

  5. United City was 0-0 after 45 minutes right?

    • Dead right, but manu have a shocking back line 😉

      • WTF you on? Jones is the best defender England had since Bobby Moore.

  6. FPL-wise, this is agonising, but for the PL drama? It couldn’t be much more tense…

    • I spoke too soon!

      • Yeha you did. I don’t see Burnley score in a million years and I do see City going all out now. Hope Burnley score though.
