Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4. No Friday fixture this time, but a big slate of games on Saturday to get the GW going. In all there is 8 fixtures and kicking it off with a lunch time affair is Southampton hosting the crap again Manchester United.
That early game is followed by six 3pm games. We have Lampard’s boys taking on Lundstram’s crew, along with that we also see Palace vs Villa and Newcastle vs Watford. Simultaneously we also get Leicester hosting Bournemouth, Man City taking apart Brighton and West Ham versus Norwich in the battle of the cheap strikers. The day is then closed out by Burnley vs Liverpool which should see 21 players inside the Clarets’ penalty area most of the game.
Sunday brings us the remaining two fixtures. The early game sees Everton play host to Wolves, should be an interesting game between one team who doesn’t know how to attack versus a team who is too tired to attack. The late game has the best game on paper of the game-week. Arsenal (just lost to LFC) takes on Spurs (just lost at home to Toon) in what should help us to start to figure out which team will finish 20 points behind second place in 3rd and which team will finish 25 points behind second place in 4th.

Can I get some help with my WC team? Had too many holes to plug and wanted Aguero. Wanted KDB and Serling but felt it unbalanced the team too much. Thoughts?

Not sure what the obsession is about a “balanced team” is ( which yours is btw,) but the name of the game is points.
Not sure if a balanced team would outscore a Big hitters team…
Maybe someone could find some stats out for a debate.?

Vote didn’t go well . For me, you only have 1 use able sub. Greenwood minutes will be small and Guendozi I doubt will be bagging many assists or goals (hoping I’m wrong being an Arsenal fan). Also only 1 goal keeper. Big sacrifice to get another big hitter in.
Hi Bigz and Cap’n. Of the two I think I actually prefer the Bigz one. Get the bench arguments etc. Shame it can’t have James rather than Luiz though. Would probably mean Mane rather than Salah. I think they’ll end up on similar ish points but I’m always sitting uncomfortably without the latter.
I’ve tried with all five in there. I think it’s too unbalanced. Now unbalanced is ok but I would not want to rely on such low budget players every week. If they don’t perform or get dropped it will take hits to solve the problem
Resisted the WC temptations this GW & things went fine-for now.
i can downgrade Robbo to get cash, but where to upgrade?
is it worth it to downgrade Kun to get funds for KDB?

Walker-Peters to a serviceable defender might be worth a shout. That’s way, you won’t have to start Cantwell
