Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4. No Friday fixture this time, but a big slate of games on Saturday to get the GW going. In all there is 8 fixtures and kicking it off with a lunch time affair is Southampton hosting the crap again Manchester United.

That early game is followed by six 3pm games. We have Lampard’s boys taking on Lundstram’s crew, along with that we also see Palace vs Villa and Newcastle vs Watford. Simultaneously we also get Leicester hosting Bournemouth, Man City taking apart Brighton and West Ham versus Norwich in the battle of the cheap strikers. The day is then closed out by Burnley vs Liverpool which should see 21 players inside the Clarets’ penalty area most of the game.

Sunday brings us the remaining two fixtures. The early game sees Everton play host to Wolves, should be an interesting game between one team who doesn’t know how to attack versus a team who is too tired to attack. The late game has the best game on paper of the game-week. Arsenal (just lost to LFC) takes on Spurs (just lost at home to Toon) in what should help us to start to figure out which team will finish 20 points behind second place in 3rd and which team will finish 25 points behind second place in 4th.

The games in full…

Could I please get some help?
Im going to change PvA to Coleman, or Cantwell and PvA to Digne + 4.5 mid. I have 0.4 itb.

    Any ideas?

Am I crazy to have jumped off the Pukki hot-air ballon? I feel it will get deflated in the next gameweeks (vs City and then 2 tough away games) and I made my 0,1 on him – just got him 1 week ago and already moving him on. Am on a wildcard now and somewhat feel OK with it. Famous last words…

It’s a risk, but succeeding in FPL is all about taking calculated risks and your logic is sound enough IMO.

      • KungFuKingCantona says:

That is exactly what I wanted to hear Red! Thank you for feeding my fpl manager ego. But these risks have a tendency to bite us managers in the behind and we feel it for a couple of GWs…oh well a Pukki-less team is somewhat of a differential now! 😉

Cheers Cookie and agreed- yep Barnes is in my team for now but I do not rate him even tough he has had a wonderful 2019. Southgate doesn’t either so I am OK with my own opinion haha. Out of those you mentioned I see Abraham as the most capable fo scoring regularly…

Looking back at that Grealish “dive” controversy, is Lansbury a cheeky punt for a 4.4 midfield bench warmer? Am I scraping the barrel on to something here?

Has Kane gone off the boil of late or is it too early to say.

As a non-owner I’ve not been paying a huge amount of attention but Spurs’ results, the wretched home defeat v Newcastle in particular, suggest a certain malaise.

Having said that, it looks like key personnel are returning and Spurs are classy enough to throw off the torpor.

But for now their players aren’t really that close to my (imaginary) watchlist. To generalise a bit, cheaper strikers than Kane have more appeal, and one very obvious more expensive one.

He has gone off the boil, and it is too early to say/judge 😎

I do t really know what’s wrong with him. Maybe it’s too many ankle ops but he’s not looked as good for a while now. Ofcourse he can still finish but he struggles to get into the box now. I don’t know if he’s being told to drop deep to get the ball but he’s just not in the box often enough for me
