Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5.
We have no less than seven games to get us back into the swing of things on Saturday and many a captaincy decision will be tested early doors as Liverpool host Newcastle in the first one at lunchtime.
We then have five 3pm games as Burnley visit Brighton for a clash of styles, a beleaguered Man United host a vibrant Leicester, Sheffield United look to continue where they left off against Chelsea as they play a Saints team unsure of their identity or ability, Spurs look to rediscover theirs as they face Palace and then Wolves look to shake off the Europa shackles when they face the kids of Chelsea.
Saturday draws to a conclusion as Man City hammer Norwich.
Sunday sees two games; in the first Bornemouth will be looking to kickstart their season with a win against Everton and the later game sees Watford host Arsenal.
We have a Monday game this week and it’s the ever improving and promising Villa against the seemingly never-improving and perpetualy disappointing West Ham.

Or, more specifically, would you transfer him for Kyle Walker
(assumption is that Man City defence suddenly sorts itself out….)
Avoid both would be my advice.
Struggling to find a sensible replacement for Digne to be honest, if I assume avoiding all city defensive assets would be the best option.
You could go to Spurs or Chelsea who both appear better options with the fixtures ahead.

Is it just me or are there currently no defense options that make any sense …. what a headache !!
Yeah I was just about to say the same!!! I am currently leaning towards Jamal Lewis and Masuaku…. Guess that says it all :no: :blink:
Very few clean sheets, so just look for attacking returns. TAA and Digne are best bets, but there could begin to be an argument that they are not great value.

As long as those cheap defenders rotate decently enough then I’d have no issue with it.
Looks like Mount or Cantwell would have to sit each week, which is no bad thing I suppose, in terms of depth.

Thanks – that’s my thinking too (to rotate the DEF). Just not enough clean sheets from the expensive DEF, and a few years back I found it better ‘top heavy’ and 4 GWs of frustration (1st GW was good) and I’m dropping like a lead balloon
Any suggestions at all though? Also thinking I should also change Rico or button to one who’s will get game time?
What about Kane to Tammy and Ceballos to Son, do funds allow that?

I’m 0.2 short with that move… Urgh.. so WC or not to.. maybe I could take a -4pt hit.. change a DEF?
I would just have Cantwell or Mount to save trying to work out who to bench and often getting it wrong and improve some of the defence.
If you’re WC spend that £800k to get better defence, no point having in in the bank.

That’s a really good team, seems you can’t do much imo, maybe Luiz to Genduozi or downgrade Digne if you want ! Use 1 FT and save the other for now also wait for midweek matches maybe some injury pops up and forces you to change!
