Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 7

Gameweek 7 gets going with a lunch time affair. The slowly improving Hammers take on the slowly deteriorating Man United. That fixture is followed by six 3pm matches. Arsenal take on Watford, Everton tangle with Fulham, Huddersfield hands over 3 points to Spurs, City put 5 past Brighton, Toon welcome in Leicester and Wolves look to impress again vs Saints. All them fixtures are just the appetisers though, for the match of the day. The late game sees Chelsea welcome in top of the league Liverpool in what we all hope will be a back and fourth battle. Should be interesting all that attacking talent going up against each other. Salah vs Hazard, also Mane vs Hazard and if that wasn’t enough, Firmino vs Hazard.

All the fun didn’t end on Saturday. Well, actually, it did!! Cardiff vs Burnley?! Really? One game on Sunday and this is what we got?

Monday sees an end to the gameweek when Bournemouth tackle the hell out of Zaha. Lerma to get a yellow via love tap to the shin on Wilfried? No doubt!

Hi guys, what moves would you suggest for my team this week? Does Mendy have to go? And can I avoid getting Kane if I have Lucas Moura already?

    Thanks!

Wait on Mendy news, but quite possibly.

I currently only have Lucas, although it’s getting to the point where I am concerned for his game time. If one of Alli/Erik remain out for another week I’d be inclined to leave him in.

You missed 11 points and lost 0.2 cash by not transferring Mendy to Trip. You know it makes sense!! Mendy will drop again this week.

Might as well ride it out on Mendy now. Trippier has one easy game this week then it gets tricky. It’s possible he even gets rotated. Damage is done. Mendy has Liverpool next anyway and then a 2 week international break when surely he’s back

      • Kruzcampo says:

He just benches Trip and plays Robbo,Alonso &Holebas. I have the same defence and will pick 3 each week, that I think will do the biz. It may come unstuck once or twice and injuries are an unknown. The main threat is a Holebas ban,but if its an accumulation of yellows its only a 1 game ban which he will spend on the bench.
I think Mendy is in Pep’s bad books due to being 3 hours late for a treatment session. He may also have an injury to a metatarsal bone. But the lack of solid information from City does not give me confidence, and until he is back and plays a couple of games to prove he is back to the same level he was I have found a replacement in Trip.
Just watch him get rotated for Cardiff!!

Curious to know peoples thoughts on switching Mane to Hazard (no point hit).

I have Robertson, Salah and Mane from Pool and Alonso from Chelsea. Obviously the fixtures this weekend make this a no brainer, but then Liverpool face Huddersfield and Cardiff compared with Chelsea facing United and then Burnley away.

If you have both Salah & Mane I’d say absolutely. I rage-transferred Salah > Haz before Saturday was over… :cuss:
