Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 8
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 8. It’s an early start this GW with a Friday kick-off and as ever with these things we hope you don’t join us for Live Match Chat with that sinking feeling of ‘why on earth have they posted Live Match Chat on a Friday night…’. And if you do (looking at you Raz!), don’t say we didn’t try to remind you as it was posted on each and every article this week at some point. Whether you made it in tact or not let’s crack on with the games.
Brighton have the early pleasure of a very much in-form West Ham coming to town on Friday evening. Saturday then sees us with five 3pm games beginning with a resurgent Burnley hoping to build on momentum at home to a struggling Huddersfield. Palace host Wolves in what should be an entertaining and close encounter, as should Leicester vs Everton. Spurs host Cardiff in what should by rights be a shellacking, or at least any Kane captainers will hope to be the case. Watford vs Bournemouth looks another one that is hard to call. Saturday evening may be the straw that finally breaks Jose’s back, and oh the irony if it is indeed Rafa who gets to waft it. Some stories you just can’t write… #here’s hoping
Sunday sees three games beginning with Mitro testing out Arsenal’s defensive resolve, followed by Saints trying and (probably) failing to blunt Hazard and co. Then it’s the game of the week at 4:30pm as Pep tries to exorcise his one real demon in English football thus far: Klopp.

Welcome to our Fantasy Football leagues section.
The League Codes for FF247 for the 2018/19 season are as follows –
What a weird round. Took out Salah and Auba for Hazard and Kane. Accidently captained Kun, both of them blanked. If I did just the first part I would’ve been 15 points better off :cuckoo:
Took out Kun and Salah for Kane and Hazard. Freaking hate Kane, but Hazard made it all worthwhile.
You are in a much better position Raz. I should have kept Auba.
Oh well, two weeks for licking wounds and plotting the next moves.
Who is that poor guy Dewale T Awobajo in the FF247 Division Three H2H I played?
He left 20 points on the bench. I thought I was bad :lurker:
i had 15, 6 and 1 so 22 ivan. should have had the 15 if i didnt bring in WB to replace doherty before deadline
Eresh, the good news is that we didn’t suffer from our f ups with captains Mitro and Kun. All in the same boat.
yeah. it cancelled out well for me. had i stucked with holding and no team changes until friday night, then i would have been 25 points better off. thats hindsight of course but whats done is done. time to come back fresh after the break.
That’s it. No point crying over spilt milk. 30 more rounds to go, we’ll get there.
And how about 33 points in the bench
Robertson out of nothing has 3 bps ripped away. WTF? I mean. 1 is okay, 2 is shady, 3 is crazy.
And how is Ederson on a bps? He had 2 saves? Really, this game makes no fcking sense.
Stones is geting 2 BPS. Take it from there :noshake:
Tell me about it Diane!! 😉
Diane?
lol raziel. we even mentioned this the other day. check the linked fpl profile when you click your name
Been telling him since about GW2 but he just ignores me!!
Averages…
66 points even though I captained Kane.
I’ll take that this week.
That’s good MH.
I’m similar, on 67pts with capo on Kane, but I had a -4 to get Arnie (1pt) and Haz (14pts) in for Kun (1pt) and Bilva (2pts). So the hit has paid off too. All in all, it’s a good gameweek, even if my capo didn’t deliver.
Evening guys and gals. Hope everyone had a better GW than me! I can’t do without Hazard any more so what is my best option?
Hazard in for Bilva leaves me £9m for a midfielder and defender for Pedro & Shaw – happy to play Duffy so bench fodder is fine for the next few GW’s
A – Doherty and Masuaku
B – Bennett & Kenedy
C – Something else
Doherty is likely to rise in price tonight, so bear that in mind.
Otherwise – Billing and Jonny?
Cheers Kralin – Hazard will rise as well so will probably do the transfers early and if it all goes Pete Tong the WC will be taken out of my back pocket.
I’d been dithering over Hazard and finally brought him in this week (didn’t captain him though). Having him and Alonso is reassuring and just about dragged me over the average this week.
