Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9. And so we go again, for about 4 weeks anyway, before the next absolutely essential international break interrupts us all once more. You can probably guess that we rather side with Jurgen Klopp and his view that ‘the Nations Cup is the most senseless competition in the world of football’. Let’s just hope that none, or at least not many, of your precious FPL assets came to any harm in their pursuit of the ‘glory’ of a few Nations Cup points this past week or so.

Back we are though and we start with a cracker as Jose goes back to The Bridge on Saturday lunchtime, an occasion which is always notable, but probably more so when he’s so under the cosh, not to mention scrutiny. Expect to see buses in their droves.

We then get stuck into a bumper 3pm selection with 6 games to feast upon. Which usually means a compromise of paucity over the rest of the weekend but more on that later! An in form (ish) Bournemouth host ‘neighbours’ and terminally out of form Southampton, Cardiff struggle on towards the inevitable as they host Mitro and co, Man City hope to strut on towards their own inevitability against whichever version of Burnley show up, Newcastle host former boss Chris Hughton and his Brighton side, West Ham prepare for the next Cup Final against Spurs and Wolves and Watford face each other in a clash of the early form setters.

Those who sold Salah and co will then be spending Saturday evening behind the couch as Liverpool visit free falling Huddersfield in the late game.

The weekend then limps to a conclusion as Sunday sees just the one game with Everton hosting Crystal Palace before we conclude with Leicester going to Arsenal on Monday.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

      • I mean fpl points, fpl leagues

        • If you mean for bonus points I use FFix but it’ll won’t show leagues

        • not bonus points, online fpl points of your team and points of your rivals in mini leagues. Someone gave a link couple days a ago but I forgot it)

        • Er the FPL site will give you your FPL points and your rivals !! If you don’t mean bonus then I’m not sure what you’re after!

        • it is a different site, not a fantasy.premierleague.com,

          there you don’t need to check each rival page to see his GW points (before provisional you can check it only in this way)

          there are like online excel table with all mini league teams points. ONLINE during matches

  2. Ending up with what should be a decent week. 44(-4) points with Pickford/Walcott/Maddison to play. Unless Lacazette goes absolutely mental on Monday then I should end up with a green arrow.

    • Nice scoring considering the players you have left! I’m on 43 but only Maddy to play, finally into the top 100k though! A nice way to end a sh@t day!

    • End up with 54 after bonus. (If Robertson gets 2 bonus points.) Got to be happy with that i guess this weekend…

      Only Richarlison left.

      My last minute transfer paid off. Sold hennessey for Ryan. Still don’t know hennesseys points but i think it paid off

    well i gambled.
    ditched hazard for salah
    ditched arnie for mitro
    totalled 50 points not including bonus.
    have done as Rosco said above, so not sure how you see my team points

    • Great gambles, they paid off this week!

      Surprising a hammer fan would drop Arnie before his sea of green 😉

      (Though I guess he’s got a few yellows now!)

      • Dont worry roccerfeller, I have only ditched him for a few weeks until West Ham have Huddersfield, then he will be straight back in the team. Yeah I see he got a yellow.

        I dont see it showing, maybe everyone else can see it Rosco. And thanks. It was a gamble.

        Pulpitations in the Chelsea and Pool game as to whether i did the right thing!!
        Next week will be another thing as I think Hazard could score alot against Burnley after the way they played against City. Then again, City are in a league of their own right now.

        • Yeah Burnley are a lot stronger at home though and yeah I agree City is different

  5. So 43 points with Richarlson and Maddison to go for me. Guess that’s ok. Need to bring Salah in for next week

    • Definitely one of those weeks after which you just need to keep a cool head… I’ll end up with 5 less points than you this week, yet I’ll save the transfer, team looks good and next week should be a lot better! Only player I’d like to buy right now is Mendy but he’s against Spurs next week… Happy to save but need to bring in Mendy soon though, hope he doesn’t rise in price too much (he will cause people will kneejerk him in without any concern that next week could be average for him)… Will be red arrows unless Richarlison and Maddison score heavily I guess but you gotta take the small red every once in a while before a huge green smile

    Is there any way I can improve this considering the fixtures and form? Nothing left itb.

      • Thanks for the advice mates… It’s just that the fixtures made me biased towards Vardy… I’ll give him at least another gw…and City are about to run into some not so easy games. Just hoping it doesn’t backfire lol

    • Get Mendy in there, maybe downgrade Vardy and upgrade one of your cheap defenders
