Just watched the Spurs game on M.o.t.d.I’m more confused about VAR than i ever was !!

      Special Agent Dale Cooper says:

Exactly. VAR is meant to help come to the correct decisions but it seems like it is increasingly applied to back up the ref, even if its a bad call on the refs part. So annoying!

      • Brookyboy says:

The Alli goal shouldnt have stood,as,by the letter of the new law it hit his arm,you could argue he controlled the ball with his arm.As for the foul on Delofeu that was about as clear and obvious a penalty as you will ever see.In its current form in the Premier league i hate VAR !

        • Special Agent Dale Cooper says:

Yep both of those calls were very suspect. Its insulting to have Deli’s goal given when we can all see it hit his arm over and over again and in a way where he got a huge advantage from it.

Also would it not make better sense to have the VAR people as an independent group, separate from the refs association (and hopefully better trained). This might see less bias in siding with bad calls.

39 is a decent score?! stuck to my guns and did nothing at all, less transfers more points, go figure.

Think the average currently is 23 ( and the top 10k not much more than that) so you are well ahead of the curve so far, nice going. A few will be getting Ricos point off the bench though.

Can be so hard not doing any moves, even more so over IB, and often its the best tactic as you say.
