  1. Christmas has already arrived… 805k to 248k (88 pts). Hopefully won’t wake to find I was dreaming laugh

    • Bloody good effort Bees! Keep on going. Who do you have left to play?

      • Thanks mate. No one unfortunately. Will be behind the couch with Hall and Wissa playing yes

        • Hahaha Bees – there was no need to hide for the Cov vs Newc match – may as well have been a transparent lounge suite! I however was greatly disappointed with Hall’s ‘points’! Bloody hell, I was thinking of great things, but unfortunately saw those chickens hatching well before going to the pet store (to get some hens!). Oh well….! smile

        • That’s footy for you Reg…up one day down in the dumps the next yes

        • Sorry meant AJW

  2. With Szoboszlai flagged for a hammy, I wondered what you all thought of him to the Belloumi kid from Hull. Worth a punt? I have 1 FT and 0.1 ITB but still have a WC and I think I want to be rid of DCL, Shaw and Gvardiol too. Just unsure of who best to replace them with.

    • I see Odegaard and Szobo as bigger issues than Gvardiol or even DCL (not much on offer in that price range unless Wissa improves. The other two could be swapped for Palmer/Cherki etc.

      • I could get one or the other budget wise. Palmer leaves me with 5.0 tor replace the other and Cherki gets me 6.9 remaining. Either way it is a -4 unless I WC and rip up more of the team to justify using it. This season is kicking my ass.

      • I wasn’t mathing correctly. No way to get Palmer. Rogers to Palmer leaves me with 4.1 for a mid and there just isn’t any at that price. I’ll have to keep tinkering with it.

        • Not Rogers, I mean Odegaard.

        • I’ve traded Szobo for Rogers – it just felt like the natural thing to do. Now am looking at Mr H Maguire for my 2nd FT – with £0.00 ITB now, am limited to a Maguire-sized budget (4.8m). Who should it be??? Can see Bogle, Justin, Kadıoğlu, or somebody else. WHO am I missing? I’ve been eyeing off De Cuyper for weeks, but price changes have put paid to that!
          Here’s the team FWIW!

  4. Newcastle are trash, taken them all out my team!
-12 total points next GW with £300k ITB, TC Haaland.
    MGW > Groß
    Hall > De Cuyper
    Barnes > Palmer
    Wissa > J.Angulo

    • Can you afford the fwd from Coventry? Cherif? At least he appears to be on pens and would seem to be a btter option than Angulo.

      • No, I only have £4.8m to spend, I won’t ever need to play third on my bench anyway, and I need finds to replace Kinsky!

    • -12 too much. U seem to be putting all eggs in 1 basket. 3 triple ups. Newcastle are better at home.

      • I had three Newcastle on my WC and they have done nothing at all, I cannot rotate them and bench them every time they are away, they cannot win at home at least Palmer and Gross are constantly scoring points, I kept putting off Brighton players as I didn’t think they were going to continue scoring good points, but they have done.

I didn’t want to take hits but funds are tight as I need to sort out my goal keeper because Spurs are rubbish as well.

        • Hall and Barnes got 22 pts combined in gw5.. just 1 gw ago. Of course they are a mid table team, so don’t expect high consistency.

  5. Wow…NEW getting their arses handed to them. Wasn’t expecting this but sure glad I don’t have any of them in my team.

  6. Wait what? When a player doesn’t make minutes, you don’t get an automatic substitute from the bench?

    • Same here… Hoping that it’s just slow this gw…
