Does anyone got any stats on sterling vs spurs and salah vs soton?
Someone did mention Salah stats either in these comments or the article before! A saints fan I believe who was captaining Salah based on it.
Salah has 5 goals in last 4 apps against Sou
Sterling has five goals and 1 assist in his last six games for City against Spurs in all competitions. Scored four in his last three meetings with them at the Etihad.
Thanks!
Really tough decision or is it just me?
Morning
Team for GW2 – good to go?
Hi Mitro,
I have Lundstram and am playing him – Palace looked toothless (though Zaha only played 30). Having said that my 5th defender is KWP away at City :big-lol:
It would be brave to drop Maguire (and bravery isn’t needed in GW2 😯 ) but is there a better chance of Wolves scoring at home to Utd in comparison to Palace away at S Utd?
I think you’re probably spot on
Good luck
HarryP
Good luck
I’m captaining Sterling over Salah. Spurs defence looks shaky to me (and has done for 6 months) & the tipping point, for me, was the 120 mins for Liverpool on Wednesday. Pool have Arsenal next week and I think if they’re cruising with 30 mins to go they’ll be some substitutions. So whilst Liverpool may score 3/4/5, will Salah be there for them all? Anyway, that’s my thinking. Good luck all :superman:
Surely Spurs defense is miles better than Saints defense in any case?
I don’t think it matters against City :laugh2:
Pool are quite attacking as well, it’s a matter of who will score more, Pool against Soton or City against Spurs… I’d say Pool is likely to score more (granted Pool might score 4 yet Salah gets only 1, whereas City might score 2 but Sterling gets them both)
Well I’ve just had a Pepsi and my captain choice is sealed now, locked and loaded, as I’ve had this sign given out to me (no doubt by the football gods from up above)… Cheers!! :drinks:
Oh dear it’s sideways, is this another sign… Back to the drawing board…. :big-lol:
Pepsi? That’s your 1st mistake of the day
I didn’t buy it mind, it was given to me… I’ll drink anything if it’s free… :scratch_one-s_head:
You capping Sterling then?
I really think Sterling vs Salah cappo is a gut call this week. Both have equally good stats against their gw opponents. There is absolutely nothing splitting them. I capped Sterling over Salah last week, only because I hate having a captain in the early KO, luckily worked out for me.
I think there is more goals in the loserpool vs Sou game than city vs spurs! The last 3 games between liv vs Sou…. 3-0, 2-0, 3-0 & 3-1. The last 3 between Spurs and City (bar CL) 1-3, 0-1 & 0-1.
Both players are on form, the only question mark over Salah is the 120 mins he played over midweek. Klopp is more likely to start Salah and take him off early….but Salah doesn’t need too much time to do damage.
I was hoping this rant was going to convince me to go towards Sterling, but it really hasn’t. :dash:
Hi guys am I good to go? Good luck to you all.
Absolutely! Even the right order on the bench
Cheers Raffles. You all set? Good luck!
