    ***NEW ARTICLE – TIPS TIME!***

Not entirely sure why we still simply call it ‘Tips’, as I’m sure Player Tips or something would be more appropriate, but whatever…

(Somehow still in his own FPL managers job!) Swirly steps to the plate to once more offer his own advice on what players you should be considering for this week and beyond. Despite his own perilous position I can thoroughly agree with (at least 90%) of his picks 😉

Many thanks Swirly, brilliant analysis and hopefully some food for thought for those on a WC this week who seem to be plenty in number.

Excellent stuff, TS. Good to mention Newcastle and their excellent fixtures.

The words about Kun have me questioning the wisdom of leaving him out of my WC side.

      Same questioning here, Kralin!
I’m on a WC and going without Aguero at the moment, but it looks like everything I read here is trying to convince me otherwise smile
I assume you’re going for Sterling if you leave Aguero out?

      Good stuff Swirly!

      • Kunal says:

Me 3! On a WC myself, currently on Sterling but I’m not too sure I have it in me to leave him out. Good value in cheaper forwards is making me lean towards Sterling

        • Frenchie says:

That’s my thinking too, there is value in cheaper forwards.
Now the Liverpool injuries make me doubt as well! Their upcoming fixtures are really good and it felt natural to get some coverage. I was going for Mane, not so sure about it now, hopefully we’ll get some news tomorrow.
          So many questions!

      • Kralin says:

Time to gather up all the threads and cut them. If OR’s not a big deal then going without Kun is ok, but I will almost certainly be playing him this weekend. I rather lazily hadn’t bothered checking his ownership then realised it would be insane, OR wise, not to have him in.

Not being around tomorrow and Saturday hinders me a bit so I’m likely to keep Sterling for now as well. So not as much Liverpool as I would have liked, but I can’t risk Mane having no idea whether he’ll play or not, and Salah is a bridge too far. Sterling can become Mane or KdB or someone else perhaps.

I just need to do some final checks, make sure I can move King to Arnie in a week or two, etc.

Good smattering of some of the less obvious options alongside the big hitters there. Swirly. Especially for Def/Gk. Nicely researched.

Yeah great research here Swirly to go along with some brilliant reading. Cheers mate, it’s much appreciated.

Cheers swirly, very useful as I’m on my WC this GW.

What are your thoughts on my WC team? Still waiting on Salah’s fitness news, tossing up about firming instead of Laca if Salah isn’t playing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated smile

One too many premium players i think. 8/15 in that team costs less than 5,0. I don’t think your four expencive players make upp for that. And wolves have a good defence, but three wolves defenders is a bit over the top…

      • obrigado says:

Ok thanks for the advice! Freeing up Salah would help the whole team..

        • AllanBrallan says:

If you replace salah with sterling, then you could go without aguero as sterling could easily take just as many points. Then there is alot of great forwards to choose from that cost around 7,0. That would leave alot of money to bring in Mendy, alonso and maybe even maddison.

        • obrigado says:

Yeah so many options! Believe it or not I’ve been without Aguero all season and I think it’s time to get him.. but I’ve toyed with the Sterling idea, just worried about rotation with KDB coming back in and champions league next week! But I need to catch up ground so maybe the Sterling route is better? Cheers

        • AllanBrallan says:

Kdb will probably be the safest choice when he is back. But I don’t think he will be playing 90 minutes a week for some time to come. But he could be on the bench this weekend already….

        • obrigado says:

Yeah I could always switch Sterling to KDB when fully match fit
