Auto Pick Team

Right then, you’ve had your break….

The World Cup officially begins on Thursday June 11th. With 48 teams, 3 host countries and spanning 4 different time zones with 13 different kick-off times this could be messy. But let’s give it a try………

The Rules – in short

It looks very much like Champions League rules, in a roundabout way. The main takeaways are essentially;

  • $100m budget
  • Squad of 15
  • 3 separate matchdays for the group stages
  • Separate matchdays for each round thereafter
  • You can switch players in from your bench during each matchday
  • Likewise you can switch your Captain to your hearts content
  • Deadlines are kick-off times – good luck with that one!
  • There are a myriad of ‘Boosters’ to use

Basically you can find all the rules HERE

To get started you can login and pick your team by clicking this link

Fixtures

There are a lot, obviously. Too many to post up sensibly so instead you will have to settle for the groups:

  1. Well this was a waste.

  2. Perhaps that’s key, Bruno downgraded to a cheaper but more productive mid and use the dosh to upgrade Oyarzabal to Kane.
Then again, the former plays Saudi and the later Uzbekistan next and both could shine in those games unknw

    • Bruno played too wide and wasn’t as effective as usual.
Thinking to take a hit and move some players around.

    • I have Oyarzabal myself, I was going to do Haaland > Kane but idk and tbh I was thinking about Oyarzabal > Messi if anything.

idk what to do with Oyarzabal in all honesty, I do worry if I drop him he’ll start scoring.

As for BrunoF he was disappointing as well as Portugal as a team.

I am just going to wait until the dust settles on these first group games, and decide unknw

    • I know it’s tricky but some decisions must be made now as I think everyone will be on the WC bandwagon for R3.

      • idk if to go with Messi or Kane because it looks like the only way England are going to win games is by trying to outscore their opponents because they cannot defend!

  3. Haverts to Kane – Bruno to Vini – Wirtz to Raphina for me. 3ph
Brazil playing Haiti will likely be a blood bath.
Will hold Oyarzabal till WC next round. Have Mbappe and Olise.

    • Oops…ignore. Not enough money. Could do Wirtz to Guimares but not so keen.
Ivan would you hold Wirtz if you sold Bruno? I hate that Bruno doesn’t have pens and plays so far from goal most of the time.

      • Yeah, thinking to keep Wirtz for now. One of Kane and Messi most likely will be the 12tn man but don’t know yet. So far Bruno is the only target for the chop but will decide tomorrow.

  4. I have done Oyarzabal > Kane and BrunoF > De Paul.
