Who are you? Who are you? Fantasy manager profiles Part 11
Here at FF247 towers we’ve often wondered what driving forces hide behind a comment or a rate my team reply, do we really know the mindset and the persona of the people we are conversing with?! To find the answers to these questions we have lured some regulars from out of their caves and got them to endure a simple Q & A session.
Hopefully this will help us to uncover whether each member can be viewed as a ‘fellow sports enthusiast’, ‘colleague’, ‘fantasy friend’, ‘internet troll’ or indeed ‘sociopath’! Let’s take a look inside the minds of our latest two ‘victims’ then and see whether, hiding behind the cute monkey gravatars, lurks a sadistic, megalomaniacal, psychotic keyboard warrior. Or just a normal guy or gal who likes to play fantasy football…
We will add a disclaimer here – we have resolved to not edit what is sent in at all. What you see is what you (we) get. All FPL rankings were correct at the time of writing too but may be far worse now! Or better.

Food:….. I’m a man of many tastes but I do love a good curry
Drink:….. All types of fizzy wine Prosecco / cava / champagne, or the flat stuff -White, lager in a bottle – never a can, vodka sometimes on a rainy Tuesday morning, tequila definitely, a touch of sherry perhaps at Christmas.. Absynth on occasion.. Wait there, you did mean alcohol.. right ?
Band/Type of music:…..Hip Hop, Reggae and all types of electronic dance music. I’m a DJ in what little time I have to myself !
TV Programme:…… Sport, any sport, and I must admit I do like the Great British Bake off & Masterchef
Films:……Not really my thing any more…. But Wolf of Wolf Street was amazing. The Dark Knight too and the 3rd one… Withnail and I and Top Gun!
Book/Author:…… Although not a fan of the fantasy genre per se – Game of Thrones.. I really do love that stuff

Country would most like to visit (and state why!)………Too many to state. India maybe cos of the food, Italy – food. In fact anywhere where they do food really. Good food. Maybe I’ll just go back to Crete thinking about it.

Could really use some second opinions on my Wildcard team.
So, my questions. Any thoughts appreciated!
A. Who to use to hold Kun’s spot. Rooney /RVP / Costa.
B. should I keep Downing? Or switch to siggy / someone else?
C. Thoughts on my keepers – is it worth having such strength in depth or do the two keepers from the same team like I did last season? (I’d save £1.7m)
D. Stick with Sanchez or downgrade to Caz (saving £2.8) – or even pick up Fab (saving £1.3m)?

Hey James good balanced team MU have the easier Games so either of them again I thk WHU have the better games but thk Siggy more likely to pick more points up That’s a good idea to have to keepers from same team but I prefer one strong keeper from top three & any other cheap playing keeper with some rotation stick with Sanchez he will start picking up points again Not a lot of spare cash so you will have to take Kun the minuet he starts which will be a risk. really strong team what is your SP good luck

James this is a very well balanced team stick with it you have enough cover for Austins away games lots of cover @ back & enough cash to get Kun back keep an eye out for Kops tips could be something there Also when you bring Kun in it might be worth replacing Silva with maybe Sterling or Mata if he keeps is place You should start seeing progress with this team

James, morning mate and Happy New Year. I’ll be honest and say the first two names on my wildcard were Hazard and Cesc. Along with a fit Kun they are musts for me. So consistent, reliable and play for the best team.
I wouldn’t have Skrtel and Clichy is a constant rotation worry, though I will concede he has delivered the points thus far.

Downgrade somebody, or upgrade downing and save cash elsewhere?
James, I think I’d lose Chadli as you have Kane. I’d also lose Skrtel, maybe to Wisdom who then offers you good Villa/WBA rotation. Boyd is obv a great shout as a 5th mid for Downinh if you need more cash.
And then of course you’d have to decide whether to keep Costa or Terry. Don’t ask me the answer as I’m struggling with it myself!!
