Who are you? Who are you? Fantasy manager profiles Part 11

Here at FF247 towers we’ve often wondered what driving forces hide behind a comment or a rate my team reply, do we really know the mindset and the persona of the people we are conversing with?! To find the answers to these questions we have lured some regulars from out of their caves and got them to endure a simple Q & A session.
Hopefully this will help us to uncover whether each member can be viewed as a ‘fellow sports enthusiast’, ‘colleague’, ‘fantasy friend’, ‘internet troll’ or indeed ‘sociopath’! Let’s take a look inside the minds of our latest two ‘victims’ then and see whether, hiding behind the cute monkey gravatars, lurks a sadistic, megalomaniacal, psychotic keyboard warrior. Or just a normal guy or gal who likes to play fantasy football…
We will add a disclaimer here – we have resolved to not edit what is sent in at all. What you see is what you (we) get. All FPL rankings were correct at the time of writing too but may be far worse now! Or better.
Next up to the examination table are Demsie and Mitro .

We haven’t had a double GW this year, there can’t be one to far away.

Any thought on when we might get one?

    Mitro says:

    Afternoon all!!

How is everyone?? Thought this WC was going to be easy!! What two GK’s would you go with for the remainder of the season? Currently got in DeGea & foster.

This is currently my WC team. Your comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

      dhruva says:

I will rather go for a.Cheapie.Guzan Maybe or Krul when he returns or Pantilimon for DDG.U can do Creswell to Terry if u downgrade DDG to a 4.5m keeper

    SwissChocks says:

Happy New Year everyone. Not been happy for me on the FPL front. Football bloody hell. I’ve dropped in 3 GWs from the edge of the top 1K to 20K. Olivier Giroud (c). Need I say more.

That’s not all. After scoring 23 in GW20 I activated the WC. Bought and sold merrily and then realised I’d sold players I wanted to keep. I’ve lost about 1mil in the process.

But all is not lost. I can come back stronger. Here’s my WC draft. Enough saved for Rooney > Aguero when ready. Any comments would be well appreciated…..think in terms of being a good samaritan after my misfortunes!!!

    dhruva says:

Hii Swiss-i would do Bertrand to Aldernwerild to save 0.7m as u will need to Take Jovetic out when Kun returns.Jovetic to Giroud maybe.I would to Trippier to Naylor(More CS potential).Rest of the team is fine.

    Drexl says:

One FT this week. So just who to bring in for YYT?
Obvious picks Eriksen, Hazard, Mata, thinking WC not needed as close to where I need to be. Defensive injuries expecting to clear. Which way we leaning fellas. Guessing not too much difference between those three. Leaning Hazard despit double coverage

    Drexl says:

    Scrub that. This side

      dhruva says:

Yyt to Hazard is a grt move.Hazard is in devastating form off late. But r u ready to double up Chelsea mids??

      • Drexl says:

yeah thats the question – just not convinced with Erik returning week in week out. Mata does appeal fixtures wise…..

        • Andy says:

I’m holding on Man Utd mid coverage till Di Maria returns, I don’t think he’s far off by all accounts. I’m not a fan of doubling up on the Spuds coverage with Eriksen as I think Kane might be enough. Haz is an option but then that means treble CFC coverage which may be too much.

I’d probably wait on Di Maria’s fitness and if he can’t go or looks iffy I might take a flutter on Sterling.

        • Drexl says:

Not a bad shout Andy on ADM, Sterling again hasnt done enough for me although Sunderland, Villa and WH at home all winnable. If Sterling could strike a ball properly, goalward anyway, I would be far happier – whether he scores chances presented, often self created, is still so erratic

        • Kop Warrior says:

Leicester at home should have been winnable, but…

        • Andy says:

I’m not getting a lot of bites with the Sterling love, over the Christmas period I think only Haz has had more touches of the ball in the opponents penalty area than Raheem so I’ve been a little disappointed in him myself with the returns he’s given me.

        • Kop Warrior says:

I fell into the trap myself and brought him in, but he’s not a finisher.

        • Andy says:

Sturridge returning could be good news for him (and Pool) Kop.

        • Kop Warrior says:

Andy, he could and hopefully he will but I have my doubts over Sturridge as I don’t know how he’ll find life at Liverpool now that we’re struggling.

        • Drexl says:

Sturridge without Suarez is half the player – and coming back after lay off – not on my radar. Also unsure how pool will take Gerrards announcement. Will it galvanise them. I dont think so. They are losing the figurehead and that dont bode well. (Some consolation for Liverpool fans that at least Everton aint just leaderless, they are hopeless!)

        • Kop Warrior says:

I don’t think Stevie’s announcement will effect the team in the short term, it’s the long term I worry about!
