Here at FF247 towers we’ve often wondered… how many manager profiles it takes to fill an international break. A lot apparently! We shall be back to normal on Monday with Fixtures, Tips, Capos and Team Talk etc and we may have an Interview with a top 100 ranked player over the weekend but until then… Back to the profiles!
Next up to the examination table are the young and the (semi) old. A contrast indeed as we warmly welcome billisBob and Potty.

Tell us about yourself in less than 50 words: I’m a crazy BPL fan who spends way too much time wondering about fantasy football. I am also a video games nerd, have played the drums for 7 years and used to have cool hair before my parents made me cut it

Sporting Team: Liverpool has been my team since I was five – I was inspired by their heroic win in the CL final – but I also like Aston Villa (because of my dad) and Arsenal (because it has 2 of my favorite players on it)

Do you have any personal sporting achievements you’d like to boast about: Well last year I won my school’s spots award! I got a big trophy and everything! My PE teacher told me it was for my “irrational passion in our school matches”!

Drink:…..Due to my present intake of slow release morphine tablets it has to be,Brothers ‘Toffee apple’ cider.

TV Programme:……strange this one as I dont own a television as I feel it restricts one from motivation.I did use to sit outside Radio Rentals in my kitbag in Cardiff and watch ‘Alf Garnett’ whilst going AWOL from RAF St Athan.
Films:……Shane,Wolf Creek and One flew over the cuckoos nest.
Joke………….While on holiday in Bermuda I got the chance to see the Bermuda Philamonic Orchestra but the bloke on the triangle just vanished.
Country visited (and state why!):…….Malaysia and the city of Kuala Lumpur, while there I ate a pigs penis and met begging on a bridge a Leper with horrible disfigurement, I chatted with him for ages and to prove to the passers by what he had was not contagious I snogged him much to his disbelief and others, and I was right coz I am still here.
Next planned holiday…….Currently saving up for my next trek which is a two week Spanish break in the South of France.

Sporting moment on TV:……Tony Yeboah’s glorious hat-trick for Leeds United in Monaco, I was that drunk I slept on the beach and missed the train back to Paris, it was an amazing experience and if you Google it you will witness finishing at its highest level from a top striker.
Sporting moment witnessed live:…….Just for the complete day sat in warm sunshine it had to be when Sir Cliff Richard held a surprise sing along on Wimbledon Centre Court, I was working there while in the RAF.

Anyway, oddballs. What would you prefer? A midfield with Sanchez-DiMaria-SIggy-Chadli(Albrighton) or Walcott-Sterling-DiMaria-Siggy-Albrighton? I think the latter could do just as well, maybe better. Also think Sterling is going to do way better once Sturridge returns.

Raz, I think Sanchez and Chadli is best for next week, but certainly in the long term I much prefer the second Walcott and Sterling option. Sterling’s been chucked out of a lot of teams because of poor form, but I’m thinking of bringing him into my team. He seems to do OK even when Liverpool don’t.
Bryan – would you not give both a week or two first though?

I brought Sterling back in this week. It’s always about being there before everyone else. There’s no point in waiting until AFTER he gets a monster score. Sterling is involved in everything Liverpool does in front of the goal and with Sturridge back soon, he WILL get more assists and goals. Walcott was a miss on my end last week, you should always wait until a player gets full 90 before you bring him in, I learned that. lol
Think Wally will be a starter versus United and he will get 60 minutes, minimum. I rate him just as high as Sanchez in all honesty (in that forward role). Sanchez will play deeper once Wally is back so it’s double luck.
I agree with everything you said Cody.
With Wally being cheaper, Raz, Sanchez is going to be a harder sell this time next month. Reckon the pendulum will swing heavily towards Theo.
True Bryan. I think Wally just needs 1 double digit game and Sanchez needs 1 single digit game at the same time for Sanchez to drop like crazy and Wally to rise like crazy. That’s how it works. People are just silly.
I know that because I keep seeing the same happening between Kun and Costa. People sell them for the other and get the other back the next week. For many it’s all about flavor of the day.
Yeah. I’m using my 2FTs to get Costa in alongside Aguero this gameweek (injuries status permitting). Then I won’t have to worry about which flavor to go for.
Raz – Yeah a start for Walcott makes him a lot more appealing. I dropped him this week for Sterling, because then I could do Naismith to Austin. I rate Alexis higher than Walcott and think he will grab more points in the next 27 gameweeks. I rate Walcott higher than most other players though. He’s fantastic!
I have 2 FT’s in the pocket Bryan. Depending on Fabregas and his fitness level I’ll swap him with Wally. If he’s fit I might make a change somewhere else. Don’t know where yet. Will probably just use 1 transfer but all depends on injuries.

In this case it’s not about who I rate the highest. I rate Silva the highest but from a FPL perspective he’s mediocre. I probably rate Sanchez higher than Wally though from an FPL perspective I don’t think the 2 will be that far apart if both are/were and started fit. Also, if Sanchez does play deeper with a Wally return that could mean even better value for money for Wally.
Raz – you going to hold your Southampton players or lose 1-2 over the next few weeks?
They’re all going Dreamers. They have hard fixtures up till late January. I could just buy them back late January. It’s not just 3 games but also during Xmas they have a lot of hard f-ing fixtures.
Cody, it’s good to be early to buy good players but it’s possible to be too early. According to FFFix Sterling isn’t far away from falling another 0.1m in price, so it seems worth waiting in case that happens even if it’s a good idea to get him in for GW12
Raziel – the old adage “don’t go chasing last weeks points” is a true one 95% of the time and the other 5% are keepers and you want them in your side.
