Who are you? Who are you? Fantasy manager profiles Part 5

Here at FF247 towers we’ve often wondered what driving forces hide behind a comment or a rate my team reply, do we really know the mindset and the persona of the people we are conversing with?! To find the answers to these questions we have lured some regulars from out of their caves and got them to endure a simple Q&A session.
Hopefully this will help us to uncover whether each member can be viewed as a ‘fellow sports enthusiast’, ‘colleague’, ‘fantasy friend’, ‘internet troll’ or indeed ‘sociopath’! Let’s take a look inside the minds of our latest two ‘victims’ then and see whether, hiding behind the cute monkey gravatars, lurks a sadistic, megalomaniacal, psychotic keyboard warrior. Or just a normal guy or gal who likes to play fantasy football…
We will add a disclaimer here – we have resolved to not edit what is sent in at all. What you see is what you (we) get. And no Bench, we aren’t just saying that because it’s your turn 😉
Next up to the examination table are Bench and Monty(Caz Daz).

Costa’s injury really messing up my plans and really not looking forward to spending the rest of the season wondering if my 10.8 striker is going to play after his coach says he’s 100% but the team physio says his leg was amputated mid-week. Of all the teams, his dodgy hamstring had to play for Chelsea?
Sterling in my mind has to go. I really like him as a player, but until Sturridge is healthy and/or Rodgers plays Lallana ahead of Balotelli I don’t think Sterling is a great choice.
If Costa is fit, thinking of Berahino > Costa & Sterling > Eriksen.
I think Sp*rs are sh*t, generally, but can’t think of another sub 8.0 midfielder. I don’t fancy Tadic (one good week) or Downing (he’s fooling everyone into thinking he isn’t sh*t). Other options?
    Thanks guys!

    Siggy yellow flag removed.

Anyone know what’s wrong with Hutton

    RedVT says:

According to Neil Ashton from the Daily Mail, Costa is going to need surgery on his hamstring.

Before anyone freaks out, he’s not going under the knife this week! Just saw this on the TV before the match and wanted to post it in case it was of interest to anyone. There was something on the CFC official site earlier that he was at training today, so that is encouraging.

      • Silverback says:

Hey Red this is worrying but we all knew there was a problem

        • Raziel says:

Some kid tried to read me a lesson earlier this week that Costa had no injuries. Like for real? Dude play last few games for Atletico with injury, Spain he wasn’t 100 percent, the start of the season he wasn’t, it looks like dude is picking up more shit every day. Him getting surgery could make the EPL more interesting though. laugh

        • RedVT says:

Hey Silver. Yeah, definitely a problem, but this sort of complicates things even more as we don’t know when they would try to plan the surgery if he does need one. I’m sort of sick of having to think about it to be honest and would almost be happier without him, but playing without Costa in your team is a scary proposition!

        • Lawdogg says:

I was wondering why Remy was so eager to join Chelsea and sit on the bench. Remy must have known how fragile Costa’s hammy is and that he’d eventually see the pitch.

        • Silverback says:

Agree Red it’s a bloody pain but if I was to get rid it would have to be for Kun major changes just hope he plays against QPR

Hey guys, like I said earlier. Siggy yellow being removed. Anyone have news?

      Saint Steve-O says:

Gary Monk said he was fine to play

    • 60.2
      RedVT says:

Apparently he’s fine and it was just a precaution that he was taken off early. Kinda sucks for Siggy owners though because he was at like 96% and moving up for a price rise soon. Now he’s showing at 0 % on FFF and his price didn’t change, so perhaps it resets if you get injured?

      • Raziel says:

Don’t know mate. Guess so? I’m just happy he’s ok, don’t care about his price, he’s a season keeper for me. Only reason I would only think of selling him if he really was injured. I mean, I bought him at 6m. No player has been or will be better value for money. No mid anyway.

        • RedVT says:

I had him from GW1 as well Raz. And I didn’t bench him that first week and lose out on his points either, ha! I’m with you, he’s started every match for me and will continue that way unless he gets a bad injury.

        • Raziel says:

Some people want to swap him in for a Barkley. Barkley didn’t even start his last game. And even though I like Chadli, he only got 1 assist in his last 3 games.

        • Lawdogg says:

I’ll keep Siggy in my side unless he gets injured – especially as it seems he & Bony have finally started clicking.
Barkley has never been a consideration for me. If he isn’t good enough to be nailed on at Everton then he isn’t good enough for my team. That Martinez doesn’t fancy him a weekly starter worries me. I have immense respect for Martinez & hope he’ll end up at Arsenal… the sooner the better IMO
