Who are you? Who are you? Fantasy manager profiles Part 5

Here at FF247 towers we’ve often wondered what driving forces hide behind a comment or a rate my team reply, do we really know the mindset and the persona of the people we are conversing with?! To find the answers to these questions we have lured some regulars from out of their caves and got them to endure a simple Q&A session.
Hopefully this will help us to uncover whether each member can be viewed as a ‘fellow sports enthusiast’, ‘colleague’, ‘fantasy friend’, ‘internet troll’ or indeed ‘sociopath’! Let’s take a look inside the minds of our latest two ‘victims’ then and see whether, hiding behind the cute monkey gravatars, lurks a sadistic, megalomaniacal, psychotic keyboard warrior. Or just a normal guy or gal who likes to play fantasy football…
We will add a disclaimer here – we have resolved to not edit what is sent in at all. What you see is what you (we) get. And no Bench, we aren’t just saying that because it’s your turn 😉
Next up to the examination table are Bench and Monty(Caz Daz).

My gut tells me to ADM – Sanchez & captain him.

I could roll the transfer over but Arsenal V Burnley in theory it can’t get much better!

    Or any other moves?

    Thanks

Hooray for Austin owners. Just don’t hope anyone in my mini-league has him. >.<

    Lawdogg says:

What did you eat for lunch? Your gut is misleading you. ADM had one bad game and people are looking to ship him out. Sanchez had one good game – and was gifted both of those goals – and everyone wants him in their side. There’s a reason ADM’s price has increased 0.1 every week since he came into the league. If Sanchez goes off then I’ll print this post & eat it, but I wouldn’t be so eager to drop ADM.

That’s priceless come from a Gooner. I totally agree with you. I’ve been telling the same thing to people since Saturday. Obviously they don’t listen to me. PREACH MY BROTHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Lawdogg says:

Cheers mate. I absolutely LOVE Sanchez, but not at that price and not with the expected rotation in Arsenal’s midfield. I posted earlier today that Arsenal aren’t set up to get the most out of Sanchez – a shame as I think he’s their best player by a mile.

Hope you’re on the mend – sounds like you’ve had a nightmarish weekend!

        • Cody says:

+1 Very true. Barcelona got the most out of him last season, Arsene needs to use him correctly.

        • Raziel says:

I’m cool mate. Penicillin will be out my blood in a few days. Had a mediocre FPL weekend though which made it extra depressing, hahaha. The United game was fun, I have to admit that much.

      • gkw says:

-1 about Sanchez, I agree ADM is (also) good. Sanchez scores plenty whoever he’s played for, not just for Barcelona. And, after just a few weeks, he’s doing it at Arsenal too. Careerwise, his goals per game are much the same as Welbeck’s. He should be assured of a starting place, if only because of Arsenal’s permanent injury crisis or at least until he succumbs to it. (What do they do, hold their training sessions on an ice-rink?)

      jamesimmo says:

+1 I’m a huge fan of Sanchez (an obvious Gooner trait laugh ) but ADM is in my team to stay.

    • 63.3
      RedVT says:

+1 here. ADM didn’t even have that bad of a game really. He took the corner that the winning goal was scored from. Fellaini should have scored his header which would have given ADM the assist, but it was blocked and fell for RVP to smash in.

I don’t think Sanchez is a bad player, but I do think he’s overpriced. I’ll take ADM over Sanchez all day long.

I couldn’t agree more Lawdogg. Alexis is fantastic and I have him in my team, but I also have Angel. If I didn’t have Alexis and wanted him in my team, there’s no way I’d ever drop Angel for him. To me Angel has been one of the 3 best players so far this season.

      Raziel says:

Still waiting patiently waiting on Wally return. Think Wenger will bring him back slowly though. He’s assist/goal magnet, FPL goldmine and so freaking cheap. >.<

      • Cody says:

+1 He’s also fun to watch, with his insane pace.

      • Lawdogg says:

It will be interesting to see what Wenger does if/when everyone is healthy again. Walcott, Sanchez, Ozil, Rambo, Ox, Wilshire, Wally, Cazorla … tough to get them all on the pitch, and a damn shame none of them can play CB!

        • Raziel says:

Wally just has to play, he just has to play. Ozil has had enough chances if you ask me, I prefer Cazorla over him even. Anyway, from those players I can only see Sanchez, Cazorla compete with Walcott. Think Arsenal need Wally. Ox is a sub. Wilshire and Rambo are no competition for him since they’re not real wingers or strikers.

You put Wally twice in there by the way, you started with Walcott and ended with Wally, hahaha. Genius. If that’s the case I want Aguero and Kun to play for me. ADM and Di Maria. The list goes on. :p

This has been one piss poor game.Worst defence against the worst strikeforce.Worst defence prevails without even conceding.Says a lot about Villa. They need Benteke to get his finess and form back quickly !!

    Brookyboy says:

What the feck is this advert down the side of my screen ?? “Are you seeking the inner happiness ?? Then convert to Islam now “” ??? This a joke ??? Get plenty of Villa supporters converting after that performance !!!

      Cody says:

      Ahahahahahahaha omfg

      Lawdogg says:

Wrote and then erased about ten responses to that. Bottom line: don’t think that’s an appropriate advert. Not trying to create a problem but just think that needs to be said.

      Raziel says:

Wait, it’s an advert on this site? Lol.

      • Brookyboy says:

It was.It then changed to an ad for “National horticultral exposure” whatever that is ?? Currently an ad for “Meet fit singles” talk about random !! ha ha

        • Raziel says:

OI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FF247, don’t advertise Islamic fundamentalism!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool site and all but keep politics/religion out of it. laugh

Be normal, do sex ads/penis enlargement ads. :p

On that note, glad I never get to see an ad, not even on my mobile/tablet. I have ABP on Chrome, but phone should display ads. Well it doesn’t. TNX FOR THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lads not sure if this is a joke or not but in all seriousness if anyone is seeing such ads please drop us a mail as those ones that change when you refresh are google ads. We don’t control the content obviously. They are linked in by them and we will tell them if that’s the case as they must have been hacked or have a major glitch somewhere. Apologies but it’s not us.

    Pippin says:

All this talk about ADM to Sanchez. I don’t have either, but I do have Sterling. Kinda tempted to keep him for Newcastle though… Any thoughts there?

Delighted to see Siggy is ok. Not that I’ll ever sell the little beauty anyway…. :hippo:

    • 66.1
      Raziel says:

Yeah very good news, just Falcao needs to heal up quick. Hearing more and more signs of Costa needing to be operated though. Unsure if I should get him or just keep Falcao this GW and the next.

    • 66.2
      jamesimmo says:

I’m keeping Sterling for this week Pippin – just like Zamora 😉 – but in all seriousness I feel he’ll kick on v the Toon despite Liverpool’s form.

Walcott is the only player I want in his place and I doubt he’ll start vs Burnley so I’m holding on…

    • 66.3
      Cody says:

You need to get your hands on Di Maria man, he’s a must-have. I have both of them AND Sterling. I will keep Sterling this week, because why drop him if he’s not injured or getting rested?
Of course, if you can get Di Maria or Sanchez in for Sterling without taking a hit, then do that.
