Who are you? Who are you? Fantasy manager profiles Part 5

Here at FF247 towers we’ve often wondered what driving forces hide behind a comment or a rate my team reply, do we really know the mindset and the persona of the people we are conversing with?! To find the answers to these questions we have lured some regulars from out of their caves and got them to endure a simple Q&A session.
Hopefully this will help us to uncover whether each member can be viewed as a ‘fellow sports enthusiast’, ‘colleague’, ‘fantasy friend’, ‘internet troll’ or indeed ‘sociopath’! Let’s take a look inside the minds of our latest two ‘victims’ then and see whether, hiding behind the cute monkey gravatars, lurks a sadistic, megalomaniacal, psychotic keyboard warrior. Or just a normal guy or gal who likes to play fantasy football…
We will add a disclaimer here – we have resolved to not edit what is sent in at all. What you see is what you (we) get. And no Bench, we aren’t just saying that because it’s your turn 😉
Next up to the examination table are Bench and Monty(Caz Daz).

Real name:……Sudipto Das (That’s a contrast, isn’t it. Well the previous one is my nick name)
Occupation:…….Jobless at the very moment. Striving hard to get into one. Well if you guys have any, I’ll do that but remember no field job for me.

Best finish in The Barclays Premier League Fantasy Football game:……..92,344(starting from GW2 in that game and was my first season)
Current position for the season……….Absolutely horrific start. Currently it’s on 575,097.
Planned finish (at the start of the season)for the BPL FF game in 2014/2015:….. Get 1st and get that free ticket to the Emirates.
Expected finish for the BPL FF game in 2014/2015:……Improve and better my performance to get into the top 10k which is seeming more than unlikely.
Tell us about yourself in less than 50 words:……A student who picked up his first job after dropping out from school and then dropped out from that job again due to the lack of patience. A big Arsenal fan and a greater Santi Cazorla fan. Love a good banter and love FPL, it has now been a part and parcel of my life.

FAVOURITES
Food:…..Indian food naturally and a special mention to Tandoor chicken. French is also not too bad.
Drink:…..Beer,champagne
Band/Type of music:…..Bryan Adams, Def leppard, John Denver (solo country music)….not into hard rock. Alternative rock is OK. Alterbridge, Sylvan etc etc.
TV Programme:……Game of Thrones as simple as that.
Films:……The Shawshank Redemption,well there’s a thousand movies that I like but can’t name them all….can we?
Book/Author:……Michael Crichton, Matthew Reilly, Adam Nevill, Stephen King…the list goes on and on.
Joke………….It was with a computer password. I put up “mypenis” in anger because it was getting on my nerves with all those shite character insertion and all. And on the screen it says “not long enough”.
Country visited (and state why!):……Egypt (To visit my uncle over there and anyway it became a holiday destination for us).
Country would most like to visit (and state why!)………England (London).. Well to catch up with some of my mates of the FF247 community over a can of beer and then visit Emirates. Well it would happen soon I guess.

Sporting moment on TV:……Arsenal lifting the FA cup after such a long time. The Rambo goal and celebration in that game still gives me goosebumps.
Sporting moment witnessed live:…….Well cricket it is. It’s the final of the ICC WC 2011 and India came out on top.
Sporting venue you’d most like to visit:…….Emirates
Do you have any personal sporting achievements you’d like to boast about…………Sadly it’s also in cricket. A couple of centuries !! Football !! I missed some sitters and was thrown out of the team in my teens.

Which 3 items would u take to a desert island (no humans allowed!):…….Food for sure and water, and some flares. Well first and foremost I won’t go there.
If you won £100 000 what would u do with it:………Make a world tour.
The perfect afternoon would be spent:……..With some of my mates with some booze and food of course.
