Fantasy Premier League 2015-16 Pre-Season Round up

Hello. Happy Summer everyone and welcome to your Pre-Season Article. The article is intended as a ‘work-in-progress’ and a workspace where we can keep each other up to date with all the latest line-up and substitution news for all twenty of this season’s Premier League teams ahead of our final selection of our fantasy squads.

We should also record the scoreline particulars including the all-important scorers, assisters and ‘nearly men’. Any salient information such as a defender on penalty kicks duties, a midfielder playing striker or Asmir Begovic playing some part in a Chelsea match to let him think he has a chance of playing this season, can be found here.

Of course, if you are lucky enough to witness any of the action, your opinion is valued too so let us know who impresses and doesn’t impress during these games.

Now you may have noticed the cunning use of “your”, “we”, and “each other” above. This is not a one-man band, because I’m useless musically and I’m not on at all hours (as much as I would like to be), so please do get involved – get the line-ups ‘up’ and the opinions flowing.

        Feels like an improvement actually!

        • NIN says:

Sadly, it is! It’s one hopeless performance after another against minnow teams. Bad sign. How are things mate, been working on your team much?

        • inittowinit says:

Nope! Works been manic and any off time has been spent behind the scenes on here really and I’m just starting to write GW1 fixtures now so I’m guessing the team will be one for next week now. To be fair I’ve a fair idea of the nucleus and I’ve seen enough teams rated on here so it won’t be too hard, it’s not as if I’m starting from scratch with no idea. Yours settled yet?

        • NIN says:

True enough. I’d be surprised if you were slacking on your team this late 😉 If you’re out-the-door busy mate drop me a mail and i can help with GW1 Fix if you like, no probs. My lot are coming together, kind of, but still very undecided. Mainly trying to decide which teams to leave out, which is proving tough. If Pedro comes to United then i just don’t know what the hell to be doing.. Possibly quit laugh

        • inittowinit says:

Appreciate the offer mate thank you. Should all be in hand though. You’re up for GW3 anyway so start planning for that!

The mids so tough. There’ll be regrets for sure but as I just said to sledge, sometimes you’ve just got to suck it and see as we can plan all we want on the finer points such as rotation, and that’s time well spent, but when it comes to some of the bigger decisions luck is a big part when it comes to things like picking the right Arsenal midfielder or whatever. You can’t have everyone!

Anyway it wouldn’t be an FPL season without you quitting or threatening to at least a few times laugh

        • NIN says:

Yep, i’ll be cracking on with those soon mate, probably early next week

Any initial thoughts on them Arsehol.. *cough, Arsenal mid’s? I’m stuck on Santi and have been for a while now. Consistent little fecker. The whole midfield selection is a serious minefield but one or two heads are beginning to pop up above the rest now i suppose, like Mane. He seems raring to go already.

Oh there’ll be threats, and tears, and cussing to beat the band! The emotional roller-coaster that is FPL 😉

        • inittowinit says:

Wally feels like a small game-time risk so like you I’ve been on Caz for a bit. I fancy Rambo to have a great season too though. Until he inevitably breaks down. In GW1. That’s if he gets past the Charity Shield at the weekend!

        • NIN says:

Yeah, i’d be all over one of those myself but as you say, both come with risk. I’m nearly more interested in which full-backs they start against Chelsea, there’s plenty of options that’s for sure!

      • Slaven Bilic sent off in injury time as well smile

    Burnsy says:

Wow Sadio Mane has done well tonight getting two assists.

What are peoples thoughts on Wickham potential move to CP?

    • 192.1
      NIN says:

Hi Burnsy, Mane has been really doing the business eh? Could be a huge season ahead for him. As for Wickham, it’s hard to say. They’ve got a good few forwards now so it might be hard to guess who gets the nod from week to week.

      Anonymous123 says:

Wouldn’t get him from the off. Will probably end up being rotated with Bamford
