Fantasy Premier League Fixtures 2022/23
It may only be June still, and most of us haven’t even contemplated our summer holidays yet, but the Premier League have released the fixture schedule for the upcoming 2022/23 season. As we ourselves here at FF247 Towers are taking an extended and well deserved break we shall proffer no insight at this stage but we will be back in due course with our usual Fixture Tracker (completed and taken seriously, see below for our effort at it so far…) and then as the season approaches we shall take a closer look at the fixtures in more detail with our Fixtures Analysis articles. For now this is simply a placeholder and an opportunity for folk to begin discussing the season ahead in the comments below, should they wish to do so.
FPL FIXTURE TRACKER
Here’s that all important Fixture Tracker itself…
FIXTURE TRACKER LINK
As for the season itself all you really need to know at this stage is that it begins on Friday August 5th at 8pm (most likely with an FPL deadline of 6.30pm). Which is a week earlier than usual, and that is because we will have a massive mid-season break of about 6 weeks due to the World Cup. The break begins after GW16 on November 14th. We then resume, rather bizzarely and abruptly, on Boxing Day, but that’s a discussion and an issue for another day!
GW1 FIXTURES
Putting the team together before the season starts is the best part of fpl isn’t it? Atleast it feels like that now…
My first draft… ignore the weak bench for now… Looks ok? And who are the 4,0 defenders and 4,5 midfielders to keep an eye on?
Vestergaard at Leicester is a 4m defender, but not sure on game time. We’ll have to keep an eye on pre-season.
First draft. That’s it now until 4th Aug 😉
Kane for GW1 and then Haaland GW2 anyone?
Has crossed my mind but something always comes up don’t it week one
It sure does. Not like impossible for Haaland to score vs WH either.
What do you think of this team so far Smash? Have 1 mil in bank.
Hoping to get Raphina if he joins CHE.
I like it. Question Mings I’d guess the rest looks fine
I also question him…thank God there is time to make changes.
I am considering Kane for GW1 as well, then getting Haaland GW2.
Is there a risk going into GW2 with 0m ITB and Haaland price rising? Ideally dont wanna do a -4 to get him in, even that early in the season (even though I could claw the points back)
What’s up, boys? Here’s my first go round. One of many I’m sure.
Which option below would you prefer:
1) Robertson & 5m def (4.5mid on bench) in a 5-4-1
2) Dias & 4.5m + 4.0m def rotation in a 4-4-2
On paper 1 looks like it could score better?
But 2 is much more flexible?
I meant Diaz not Dias!
The first one, I think…
The opening dilemma. Three premiums or two premiums and a strong back line. I seem to recall Horse saying that we should start the season with strong back lines, and go from there. What do folks think?
2 premiums and a strong back line is more balanced. 3 premiums may work if all 3 go crazy, but leads to too many cheap fillers in the team that don’t score much, which probably means less points overal.
I’ll be going with 2 premiums and strong at the back
right now i went with 2 premiums, 3 8m players and reasonably strong at the back. for ex have laporte instead of cancelo
I’m currently similar. Two premium, two 8.0, and very strong at the back.
