Fantasy Premier League Fixtures 2022/23
It may only be June still, and most of us haven’t even contemplated our summer holidays yet, but the Premier League have released the fixture schedule for the upcoming 2022/23 season. As we ourselves here at FF247 Towers are taking an extended and well deserved break we shall proffer no insight at this stage but we will be back in due course with our usual Fixture Tracker (completed and taken seriously, see below for our effort at it so far…) and then as the season approaches we shall take a closer look at the fixtures in more detail with our Fixtures Analysis articles. For now this is simply a placeholder and an opportunity for folk to begin discussing the season ahead in the comments below, should they wish to do so.

As for the season itself all you really need to know at this stage is that it begins on Friday August 5th at 8pm (most likely with an FPL deadline of 6.30pm). Which is a week earlier than usual, and that is because we will have a massive mid-season break of about 6 weeks due to the World Cup. The break begins after GW16 on November 14th. We then resume, rather bizzarely and abruptly, on Boxing Day, but that’s a discussion and an issue for another day!
GW1 FIXTURES
1 or 2, both players would play every week. (Really want rid of Neto, but struggling how!).
1) Robertson and Neto
2) 4.5 Def (Tomiyasu? Justin?) and Diaz
Draft number 2. Quite like it. Might even bring in Williams to replace vestergaard but then I do end up with 3 Forest players.
Anybody got any thoughts on Ramsey at Villa?

with chilwell fit wouldnt get Alonso. and not sure of longstaff. otherwise looks nice.

Cant get Chilwell as dont have any funds left. Would need to re-jig my squad.
Thoughts on Perisic?
Hi everyone – hope you’re going well!
I’m going mad too HF! (see above) So frustrating getting a team !
My imperatives:
– I want 2 premiums (Salah + Kane/Haaland)
– I want a strong backline (TAA + Cancelo + James + Chilly + a good 4.5)
– I don’t want less than 2 good 8m mids (atm = Diaz + Kulu)
I’ve been convinced about all I’ve heard about the value of the top defenders (including the Chelsea boys) being less than midfielders in price, but higher at the end of the season in points than most mids and forwards (so why not???) but it leaves a crappy-ish bench! Can’t even afford to get in the highly touted Ulav.
Has anyone got any tips???

Hi AJW, you’ll probably need to downgrade one of James or Chilwell then upgrade elsewhere. Consider dropping one of your GKs to a 4m GK too. Hopefully some mid-range contenders will rear their heads in pre-season.
An extra 20m would be handy too, wouldn’t it?
Hahaha Loud – too right! In my case, it’s more of 2.5-3m more and I would be content!

Hey AJW – dont get mad…. get even….lol
Nice team mate, but as mentioned, I would maybe downgrade one of your Chelski (sorry, cant say that anymore, Chelsea lads to a 4.5m player and give the cash to me… no, be nice…lol… spend the cash up front on a 2nd striker – maybe Mitrovic (Mitro’s extended cousin!!) That will give you an option of 4-4-2 formation.
Also, go with 1 playing GK, and 1 bench fodder for now. Dont really need it like others say. We will have a “make as many transfers as you can” when the World Cup is on anyway, so you can tinker again then.
