Fantasy Premier League Fixtures 2022/23
It may only be June still, and most of us haven’t even contemplated our summer holidays yet, but the Premier League have released the fixture schedule for the upcoming 2022/23 season. As we ourselves here at FF247 Towers are taking an extended and well deserved break we shall proffer no insight at this stage but we will be back in due course with our usual Fixture Tracker (completed and taken seriously, see below for our effort at it so far…) and then as the season approaches we shall take a closer look at the fixtures in more detail with our Fixtures Analysis articles. For now this is simply a placeholder and an opportunity for folk to begin discussing the season ahead in the comments below, should they wish to do so.

Here’s that all important Fixture Tracker itself…

As for the season itself all you really need to know at this stage is that it begins on Friday August 5th at 8pm (most likely with an FPL deadline of 6.30pm). Which is a week earlier than usual, and that is because we will have a massive mid-season break of about 6 weeks due to the World Cup. The break begins after GW16 on November 14th. We then resume, rather bizzarely and abruptly, on Boxing Day, but that’s a discussion and an issue for another day!

What do you guys think is better?….
1 – Nico Williams and Undav
2 – Tierney and Greenwood

Some thoughts for you AJW. You could sell one of the Chelsea backs for Trippier, who rotates well with Tomiyasu for the first 12 games. This would give you the cash to get Undav at 5.5.
You could upgrade Neto to Bruno of Newcastle with your existing 0.5 and if you still want double Chelsea at the back you could downgrade a GK to a 4-0 and get Mendy for 5-0 or keep Neto and just upgrade 1 GK.
I had KDB and Haaland in and out but have settled on H. I am going 3-4-3 with Jesus ,Darwin and Haaland up top, which seems to be in the minority as most seem to be gong 5 at the back.
Thanks Kruzcampo! As I mentioned in a reply to Loud Atlas, it’s a bit like ‘Sophie’s Choice’!
What does your team look like to have THAT frontline???
Bye for now! 😉
Hi AJW
Not set in stone yet but I have Mendy, Balcombe, TAA, White, Burn Justin, Cucurella, Salah, Bruno Gummi, Saka, Colback , Dewsbury Hall and the 3 mentioned up top. The defenders rotate for 12 GWS.
Dewsbury might go to Andreas depending how pre-season goes and Burn goes to Trippier and Saka may go to Martinelli.
Just seen Darwin has a foot problem which may be just blisters,so I might have to start again. AARGH
Okay matie – you’re obvs looking to a year which signals the rebirth of the high scoring forward! Good luck and think different!
I’ve had a fiddle around and have dropped James for Trippier, swapped Neto for Wissa (cool name – scored 8 goals last year and Brentford have a pretty good run!), and try to get in Undav up top, but it may be a long-term (and costly) venture! Feeling good, as I have held on to my double 4.5 goalies, which may come in handy!
See yah! 😉
Absolutely every year we consider 5 at the back and always change last minute. So I’m going to buck the trend and propose this draft
Undav in his first match failed to even have an attempt on goal. Wasn’t great apparently. Pre season will tell if he’s an option I guess
Jeepers! Now that IS a good team!
So 2 x 4.5 DEFs and a 4.0 GK is the secret!
Very jealous mate!
😉
Any suggestions? If sterling is nailed, he is locked in my team.
Yeah he will be . Don’t see him rotated much he’s left to play every week
People going for Raya in goal. Its being reported Brentford are close to signing Thomas Strakosha, Armenian international keeper, possibly to replace him as he is not signing a new contract (yet at least). One to keep an eye on.
Thankyou Agent Cooper! Hmm, seems that the owls are not what they seem!
😉
Glad to be back!….feels like we were just here, no? 😉
Am I the only one that’s played around with (and am seriously considering) a Kane, Haaland, Salah draft?
Probably not, but I haven’t seen any yet. Let us see the rest of that team to see what else you are able to afford.
I went with Son rather than Kane
