Fantasy Premier League Fixtures 2022/23

It may only be June still, and most of us haven’t even contemplated our summer holidays yet, but the Premier League have released the fixture schedule for the upcoming 2022/23 season. As we ourselves here at FF247 Towers are taking an extended and well deserved break we shall proffer no insight at this stage but we will be back in due course with our usual Fixture Tracker (completed and taken seriously, see below for our effort at it so far…) and then as the season approaches we shall take a closer look at the fixtures in more detail with our Fixtures Analysis articles. For now this is simply a placeholder and an opportunity for folk to begin discussing the season ahead in the comments below, should they wish to do so.

As for the season itself all you really need to know at this stage is that it begins on Friday August 5th at 8pm (most likely with an FPL deadline of 6.30pm). Which is a week earlier than usual, and that is because we will have a massive mid-season break of about 6 weeks due to the World Cup. The break begins after GW16 on November 14th. We then resume, rather bizzarely and abruptly, on Boxing Day, but that’s a discussion and an issue for another day!

This sites good for pre tinkering …tinkering?

First draft with predicted prices & positions
Apparently it uses a clever algorithm to get this.

And the game’s not even up yet rofl. FPL never sleeps!

A good start, I think! For me, it’s Salah, Haaland and then everyone else, so not looked at the cheapos yet. Given how poor the forwards were last season (with the odd exception), there’s an argument for a strong defence and mid this year. i.e. 5-4-1, 4-5-1.

Getting a bit fractious in the stalls there Hammerfan! Easy, easy & wait for starter’s orders before trying to jump out for a start!
Take advantage of the silly season and what’s going on around besides football! I hope you’re well!
        😉 Cheers.

Things could be better with me – need a big distraction, and ff is it.

I’d say we’ll get some teaser prices during next week.

Site might go live a week or so later.

Official FPL has tweeted it’s coming in July, which is slightly vague, but hopefully sooner rather than later!

I Like it. I may have Mitro from start, for 6.5 I can even bench him few games.

Dubravka and Pope competing………damn ! Looks like a 4.5 – 5m GK is gone. I am sure Magpies will play Pope.

    Otieno says:

    Give us some prices please!

I need something to take my mind off this England batting.

Before the news about Pope I was set on a starting pair of Raya & Dubravka bit now that has been thrown into doubt.

Defence I think will be need to be TAA, a choice of MC or CHE defencers (Cancelo, Laporte, Chilwell, James) then 3 cheapos who will rotate with my 5th Mid. BHA&AVL, BRE&NEW, WHM&WOL seem likely options for pairs.

OK now we have to spend money. Haaland and Nunez will be in my team along with a lesser forward like Gelhardt

That doesn’t leave money for Salah but if Son comes in at a reasonable price and stays at MF there is an outside chance of getting him in with the likes of Trossard, Colbeck, Guimares, Martinelli, Ramsey, Bowen., Dewsbury. If Son is out of budget, I wonder what price Kulusevski will come in at?
